It wasn't the 2025 WR recruit or the portal transfer QB Millen from CSU then, I presume

Candy, I appreciate all of your hard work but seriously, the fans and athletic department should expect BN to be working hard.

Between the portal and NIL, it's a minefield.

But we don't need another recruiting slacker like DM, who slowly and systematically help destroy the legacy of Gator football history.

And received millions to sit on his ass.

I wouldn't mind if we scarfed some of the recruits from coaching changes. Kevin Brockway reposted this from Brent McMurphy just recently:

Jim Harbaugh interviewing today w/LA Chargers, @AdamSchefter reports. If Harbaugh ends up there, hope it ends up better than 2000. Harbaugh & Ryan Leaf were Chargers starting QBs, Mike Riley head coach, Paul Chryst TE coach & Mike Sanford WR coach. They went 1-15

Fact is, he's working his butt off so props to BN!

The sad thing is most coaches especially head coaches are working 60 - 70 hours a week with very little break over the year (well except for maybe DM) But a lot of these coaches have young kids. Sure the kids get lots of toys and perks but what they need/want the most is quality time with dad. And yes, I know there are countless other professions that demand the same but still this no doubt impacts family life. Makes me wonder if it's worth it? Come home with lots of money but come home to strangers as well.
I know most will say coaches go in knowing this, the job demands time away from home, they signed up for this. True, but the kids didn't. Not only do they have absent dads but if the coach doesn't succeed I wonder do the kids get some of the grief?
I've been down on BN's coaching but I wish him the very best, I want him to succeed because he truly is a character guy, but at the same time I grieve for his kids and coaches kids who spend a lot of time missing their dads. I am saddened that I crave this kind of entertainment that may be so depriving.

Effort matters little in most things. Only results. No trophies for effort without results in the adult world.

I’m thinking it is the Texas commitment at DT from State of Florida that may ask out of LOI now that his DL coach went to LSU. Will know by end of week if that is happening and he will enroll at UF for Spring???

Nope. His fingers are considered too short based on FG Holder Finger and Hand Metrics.

Agree with much of this thread. Where I disagree is the lack of a LB coach when hosting three junior days back to back the best few weeks. That coach should already be in place.
