I hear ya Arch, yep, some of em just want to keep the business reflecting a backlog, keep accountants happy and the labor busy. But being I'm paid on commission and profitability, that does not work so well for me. And I HATE the philosophy of: "We'll just make it up with change order requests" - Yeah sure, that's always a winner!
Fishing makes sure im broke. And if you dont wanna do a job, make the bid so high that if they accept it, youre still happy.
