'Squad' Dem Rep. Jamaal Bowman fire alarm footage released after guilty plea: 'bold-faced liar'

It’s absurd, potential dangerous and surprisingly just stupid. Way back when if anyone did that in school they were considered to have mental issues.

Note: we should assume we’re on video all the time in public.

 

While Bowman's stunt was an illegal juvenile act and obviously inappropriate for a member of Congress, it's quite a stretch to compare it to large scale vandalism, physical attacks on law enforcement officers and a serious attempt to prevent voting to certify the results of presidential election. One was a juvenile stunt that at most would have delayed the vote for the Speaker of the House the other was a serious attempt to prevent the peaceful transition of power from a defeated incumbent to the duly elected president.

 

Both sides call it out all the time.
Yes, I did bring up Johnson but only after I said what Bowman did was inexcusable and in response to the 'both sides are the same' claim. I don't happen to think they are at this point. They often have been, but not now.
Given that you've got people calling for him to resign, calling him a moron, calling his actions inexcusable ... who exactly is giving him a pass and refusing to hold him accountable?

You started this asinine argument by calling me out for the use of the word “most”. But look around and tell me he is being held accountable for his actions and his words. If YOU or I had pulled that fire alarm and the. Lied what would have happened to us? If it had been a meme we of the GOP who did it do you think these same posters in this thread would be so nonchalant?
