He was honored as a part of the Gator Bowl's 75th anniversary team in front of a stadium full of Vols fans.

It went as expected. They booed and he chomped.

Aside from the cocktail party, why was the HBC honored in the Gator Bowl? I think he coached one bowl game there for the Gators

LOL. He left FL before he was 1. I was born in PA and moved to FL before I was 1 and I would never consider myself from PA.

It was done simply to upset and irritate all those UT fans. BTW who won the game?

No luck involved, that was skill vs skill. Which team would prove to be the best at blowing a game? In the end, Indiana was too much for Tennessee to handle.

My daughter and I were at The Swamp this past year (2019) for the UF vs. UT game and we sat up high, in the southeast corner, by the Vol section. When Coach Spurrier honored the 93' Gator team at halftime, the UT fans let him have it with all kinds of insults.... He's a Gamecock, He's a traitor.... LOL, so funny to watch them quiet down as the game came to an end...…. Gator victory. :)
You can bet, they are gonna be hyped this year with more static towards UF since they got the win in the Gator Bowl.... Another beatdown coming for them in Neyland this year.....
    GO GATORS!!!! ALL CHOMP!!!!
