What did his dad do?
When he is free again he will be a wide reciever...
One of the best tight ends ever.
Never mind, nothing to see here. The Soul’ Ja was just out house shopping for his mother-in-law and looking for his little red dog..
Kellen Winslow Jr.'s rep: He was house shopping for mother-in-law when neighbor called police
Still cant believe they gave that asshat the Mackey Trophy that year over UF's Ben Troupe.
Sounds like this may not be what we originally were led to believe. My guess is KW2 isn't in need of robbing trailers. His family has money and he made close to $50M.
I know that. I meant about the Apple falling from the tree post. Was his dad also an asshole?
As a white guy, who is always looking for investment properties, I've done this 100 times when the home is vacant and for sale, just to get an idea if it's worth asking for a showing. Some realtors will ask you to walk around the property, look in windows, check out the roof and A/C, before scheduling a showing, if it's vacant.
Never had the cops called, and if the cops were called, I'd think they'd just question me and let me go. An arrest here would be ridiculous.
Now if it's not vacant, and someone is still living there, I wouldn't do that without permission... and that's a little sketchier. Not sure what the case is here.
Additionally, Denise White of EAG Sport Management told NBC News that Winslow was arrested on suspicion of burglary after a neighbor called police and reported a possible residential burglary. "An over reactive neighbor called police after she saw Kellen walking around a mobile home," she said.
According to the sheriff's department, "The reporting party indicated a black male adult had walked into a neighbor's residence," and that person confronted the man because they "did not recognize him as being the resident who lived there." White disputed this claim, noting, "The owner said he never went inside the home or took anything, or nor was anything taken, touched or moved."
While Winslow's reps say he was house hunting for his mother-in-law, a neighbor of the mobile home owner stated that, when confronted about why he was there, Winslow said he was looking for his red dog, Clifford. White said that the Winslow indeed has a red dog named Clifford, but he was being "sarcastic when answering her questions about what he was doing there."
No, I probably should have found a pic that showed distance as in far from the tree.
Where are those great gifs that were on here?
Sounds like a typical case of an over reactive neighbor who sees a large, hulking male she doesn’t recognize strolling through the neighborhood and calls the police.
I would also guess he wouldn’t be buying his mother n law a freaking home in a trailer park. Unless she was gonna use it for a meth lab, methinks if he was really shopping for a home it wouldn’t be in this neighborhood
We don’t know the mother in laws preference in housing, maybe that’s what she wanted.
Well, he did say "mother-in-law", not mom.
Do you wear a shirt when you house hunt? Or is the homeless look part of your negotiating tactic? If a neighbor asked why you were there, did you make up a lie?
I've given BS answers before when nosy people ask stupid questions. If a house has a for sale sign in front of it, then it should be pretty obvious why people are showing up to look at it. But put yourself in a black person's shoes for a moment, don't you think "a scary black guy was looking into Dorthy and Harold's trailer" might make it's way around the trailer park and influence a possible deal?" And before you tell me my imagination is running away, here, racism isn't a problem anymore, just look at this thread ... before the facts started to come out, it seems the going assumptions here were along the lines of Winslow is a crackhead robbing trailers because he squandered his NFL millions ...
To be fair, if any former white NFL player who acted like a dipshit on a regular basis, who had a previous arrest for drugs, went to jail for creeping around a house with no shirt on, I'd assume he was a broke crackhead too.
I just want to know... Did he really squander $40 mil?
I could have been set for the rest of my life (and then some), with A TENTH of that.
I think he was looking for his Gun Oil. I guess Vaseline was too obvious
