Softball Transfer Portal

Perhaps I'm just wishing and hoping but I'm beginning to wonder if Tim dumped his social media accounts because after the two nutjobs posted their crap about him that he was getting so much hate that his only recourse was to get rid of the accounts for now. Perhaps it doesn't mean what most of us felt it meant?

Good point. And other than Mia Williams hitting the portal, the other 4 who are transferring out are not really that surprising, except possibly Lamar.

It makes sense, even if he wasn't getting any personal grief, it doesn't help the programme if people were tagging him in posts about those posts. I don't know if they were but it stands to reason that people would, even if it was to express support.

 

For anyone who has been to one of the open practices or open scrimmages, it is clear how hands on and how detailed and how good he seems to be as a coach.

Im sure. I wasn't commenting on what's been said, or TW at all. Sorry if it came across that way.
What I meant was that if anyone softball related, future recruits, parents etc, were looking on his social media and saw all the noise that's been created, it could harm the programme, which we can all agree is the last thing Coach Walton would want, so cutting it off at the neck by deleting his social media and not giving it a platform is a good idea.

Im only speculating though obviously, but its probably what I would do.

 

All this crap is sure a bad look, especially now when we're needing to lure some quality players from the transfer portal.

 

Actually I meant my comment in support of you…much of what you say makes good sense. I appreciate your participation and I appreciate Coach Walton for his hard work.

 

Stacey great Gator that she is did not contribute to the KSP renovation. That was a $125,000 contribution made on her behalf by a booster to recognize her part in establishing what has become a top softball program. Her legacy lives on thanks to that contribution.

Yep, only school in SEC with no softball. Weird, since they have a very good baseball program under Corbin.
Bunch of cheapskates. They do have women's bowling.

You are correct. I just googled it and got the same answer. Would not have guessed. Guess they're saving all that sec football $$ for other facility improvements.

 

Vandy does have enough money for a LGBTQRST only dorm, that they built 3 years ago! They are FINALLY going to field a Volleyball team, and don't forget they do field an equestrian team(although it may only be a club team)!
