Watched the highlights from the Florida Little Leaguers today and saw a kid that Sully better send someone to talk to, Owen Fouse from the Lake Mary area Little League. He pitched into the 6th inning on 86 pitches with 14 strikeouts. He looks like a junior in high school already and has good speed on the bases (3rd inning inside the park HR). He pitched 3 innings and then the game had a rain delay. Then came back out to go almost 3 innings more. Great movement on his pitches but can have a few control issues like most LL. Hopefully this YouTube post will stay up. Enjoy....
What error, I didn't see no error. Its Little League, do they even give out errors anymore in LL if the ball doesn't find the glove??? LOL
This Lake Mary, FL team got eliminated by Nolensville, Tennessee in the SE Regional championship last evening. Florida had gone 3-0 heading into the final, while Tennessee had to battle out of the loser's bracket and was 4-1 heading into the championship game, but beat Lake Mary 4-1 to advance to the Little League World Series. https://www.littleleague.org/downloads/2023-llb-southeast-region-bracket/
Couldn’t watch the game because of a disconnect between ESPN and myself, but the games I saw innings in were not that great defensively imo. Disappointing actually.
Yes Tenn deserved the win. Fla had too many walks and errors. Fouse played 1st, had two errors himself, but did not pitch. Fla pitching was up and down thru the tourney. If they could throw Fouse every game they would have been in the LLWS finals.
No where else to put this but Tampa, FL Keystone won the US ILLWS Championship today if you are interested to see the highlights.
