Yeah I’m sure he would come here and work for Mullen after wanting to kick Mullens ass a couple years ago

Yeah doesn’t seem likely that we would have a new DC by the time he signs unless he holds off until February.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what really happens.

I’m just thinking that recruits might not want to come play for a Defense that’s not working right. James is just one man. We will probably just have to wait and see what happens at the end of the regular season.

I'd play the waterboy before I let him suit up in O&B. Candyass had his shot.

You can’t fault young men from shying away from a program that has not turned the page for almost 2 decades. 2008-2009 was the last time our program was a lock for a top ten finish. When you win two championships in 3 years in the age of social media and you cannot parlay that into a winning brand of football, it reeks of mismanagement.

How can you spend 8 figure salaries on a coaching staff that prepares its players to throw four interceptions and give up almost 300 yards rushing to one player??? A coaching staff that two games earlier watched 8 illegal procedure calls against an offensive line that practices everyday under their tutelage in the Swamp?
It is inexcusable, and if I were a parent of an aspiring football professional, I am going to want my child to go to a school that has coaches who consistently compete for titles wherever they are.

Unfortunately Spurrier and Meyer were the only two we have had who consistently prepared their teams game in and game out and neither got the money that Mullen is making- neither did their staff get 7 figure salaries.

if you look at the top 25 teams in the country (which we are not one) we probably eclipse 90% of them in coaching salaries. We talk about not finding a coach who can win championships for us. Why don’t we just find a coaching staff who will take half the salaries that our staff is getting, go out and recruit just as hard and just as effectively, and probably win just as many games? At least we save 7 million a year!!

SOS’s teams were notorious for procedure penalties and some of the most penalized teams in the country. At one point he said on his show very sarcastically that he had no answer but he guessed he needed to do a better job of teaching lineman to count to two.

He doesn’t have a job, so either no good team wants him or he doesn’t want a job or both.

As go the coaches, so go the players.

If we want excellent players we have to have excellent coaches. Surely that’s not hard to understand.
