Actually there is quite a bit of evidence that his conclusions were exactly correct. John Erlichman, on Nixon's staff stated so himself. Do a little research.

Obviously you can't separate Politically Biased LYING Research from Legitimate Empirical Research if you make such a silly statement (silly to a Trained and Knowlegable Empiricist like me). Regarding cannabis, today, Pharmaceutical Companies spend hundreds of $Millions each year trying to create patentable copes of the real stuff due to the rather incredible benefits the over 200 cannabanoids in this wonderful weed contain. The first Well-constructed Research Study ever done was by Mayor Laguardia of NY, in the early 1940s when he pulled together a multi-disciplinary team of scientists to determine whether the Idiotic Marijuana Tax act of 1937 had any legitimacy, which they found not to be the case : La Guardia Committee Report - Table of Contents (you may perhaps note that the Secretary of this Commission had a Ph.D.). In fact, during WW II, due to the loss to the Japanese of all primary sources of Sisal, Jute and Manilla, the US Goverment created a propaganda film entitled: Hemp for Victory (hemp rope, like the 200 tons of Hemp the USS Constitution (Ole Ironsides) carred in the form of Sails, Ropes and even Tar in the seams. Hemp produces over 25,000 commercial products, but today, due to it's illegality by our TRULY EVIL GOVERNMENT!!! one must pay Black Market Prices to get the products (mainly from Canada). Hemp produces 20 tons per acre, even in Desert and very Cold Regions, and in most places you can grow 2 crops per year (it's so fast), and it also grows so thick that it chokes out other weeds, thus requiring little protection (unlike most foods). Hemp hears and hemp Oils are about the most nutritious food you can eat (I make sure to consume no less than 5 Tablespoons of Hemp Hearts every day, despite their insanely high cost (Friggin Black Market Prices).

Even more importantly, Cannabis extract is one of 3 very effective anti-cancer treatments developed in the 20th Century. If you are interested, was Rick Simpson's Run From The Cure: Run From The Cure - Top Documentary Films (should also still be available in 7 parts on Youtube). The other 2 are food-grade Hydrogen Peroxide, a discovery for which a German Physician received the Nobel Prize in 1934, however, because they can't patent it, our Controlling Pharmaceutical Corporations hide this. Unfortunately, off the top of my head, I've forgotten the 3rd - Senility is Hell!

A few, among almost innumerable sources of pretty good information on this are the following:
Here's a 2002 article on current uses of Hemp for a wide variety of purposes: Hemp: A New Crop with New Uses for North America
One by The Hemp Historian tell Why This Idiocy Occurred (outlawing): Hemp Historian/Facts
Another one regarding Hemp/Cannabis & Cancer - 20 Medical Research Studies: 20 Medical Studies That Show Cannabis Can Be A Potential Cure For Cancer
    Cannabis for Pain: http://norml.org/news/2015/03/12/st...ts-substitute-cannabis-for-prescription-drugs

The reason cannabis has an effect on us is the same reason that Morphine has an effect, due to our innate Endogenous Morphenes and EndoCannabinoids, we come with receptors. Although Endorphins are vital for various issues, without the Cannabinoids we can't even develop properly. For this to be illegal, given that it's legality would completely revitalize the US Economy shows just how Idiotic and Moronic the Profiteering Devils in Washing Are. Estimates are that it would rival the Porn Industry in sales if it weren't sold at Obscene Black Market Prices. (Porn Industry roughly $60 billion each year).

I did. The Erhlichman statements were first reported 22 years after the reporter interviewed Erhlichman and claimed he heard the statements. He said he didn't report them at the time, because he "forgot". He also conveniently waited until after Ehrlichman died to report them. Erhlichman's family hotly disputes the accuracy of the account. And, to the original point, the reporter didn't say that Nixon (as allegedly reported by Ehrlichman) continued the illegality of Marijuana to imprison blacks. He reported that Nixon kept HEROINE on the list of illegal drugs to imprison blacks.

Let me get this straight: the only reason HEROINE is illegal in this country is to imprison blacks?:rolleyes:

Maybe you should do a little research.
