You take off both shoes. Then socks. Then, in the standing position assume a stance that requires a toe to toe contact. Be advised that to be officially toe to toe that each toe must make contact and each participant is mandated to have an angry look on their faces. Points are assessed as to the rigid stance and the facial gestures that imply or exude the 2 grown men angry over a word battle look.

Did you ask if I thought it was a setup? I'm saying that guy shouldn't act like a victim and run to social media for affirmation. I'm saying that I support Cuomo telling that guy off. I don't like Cuomo, but I also don't like spineless punks.

    Just hit the wire -
Don Lemon now is being sued "by a right wing blogger" with a history of vicious rants against CNN. Some type of altercation in a bar last year.

CNN has already issued a statement in support of Lemon. Looks like the exact same "baiting" of Cuomo.

I would expect this phenomena to continue with Republican and Democrat sycophants deliberately attempting to create these headlines.

It's classless and in poor taste but hey....that's where the body politic is right now.

I don’t know what’s worse. Pulling stunts like this for publicity, or being in an “altercation” with Lemon where you weren’t able to mop the floor with him.

I think I will join whoever it was earlier who said they had stopped watching cable news. In fact, I’ll go a step further and stop watching network news as well

He wasn't doing it to be a victim, he was doing it to be an attention whore and to score points for his political team. It wasn't "look at me, I was wronged", it was "look at the out of control lying commie CNN guy".

There is no point in arguing with them. None.

So now Italians are playing the race card?!?! ROFLMAO!!!

Do you get to play the race card if you are ten percent dago? How about 25% guido?

Uh, oh, did I say something bad?

How sad this country has become.

It was "look at me, I was wronged." The point was to try and paint Cuomo as acting unreasonably and the other guy as a victim of the unhinged CNN bully.

There were three people involved and only one was well known. Not sure how Cuomo thought that engaging them was a good idea. The two jackasses shouldn’t have done it but Cuomo should have shrugged it off.

Wonder if he had a couple prior to this happening. CNN reporters are having a rough summer at bars this year.

Apparently CNN has taken Cuomo's show off the air. The weekday lineup has been Erin Burnett from 7 to 8, Anderson Cooper from 8 to 9, Cuomo from 9 to 10, then Don Lemon at 10. But Wednesday night it was Anderson Cooper on till 10. And Thursday night it's Cooper from 8 to 9, then a Cooper interview with Stephen Colbert from 9 to 10.

Maybe they're planning a new Cuomo show called "Fredo."

Doesn't sound like it's quite the same. :emoji_astonished:

Don Lemon doesn't look that intimidating to me. The bartender who alleges the attack must be a real wimp.

I think Cuomo was scheduled to be on vacation this week and not be on the air. If he is off the air next week, that will indicate CNN is taking some action against him.

Where have you been lately...racist bigoted words have existed for nearly all ethnic groups and they have never gone away. The words are normally not the reason for raised tensions though but seem to be the pen knife that raises the bar.

Although the story was published two days ago it was about an event that supposedly occurred over a year ago. Looks to me like a false allegation. For some reason I couldn't find a single article on the subject during the time the incident allegedly occurred although there are have multiple articles about it that have been published the last couple of days by conservative leaning sources.
    From the Fox News story
