    Respectfully Disagree...

You insult a man with a childish remark, you should be prepared to get into a fight?

Do we have to resort to violence?

Ironically, with that dumbazz outburst, just assured he will be known as fredo from this day forward. Should have ignored it.

Stand toe to toe? What exactly does that mean?

Cuomo was practically begging him to take a swing...

To the fool that came after Cuomo, there is an old saying "don't start none, won't be none". I'm not defending Cuomo's response, he should know better, but if the troll doesn't initiate it there would be nothing to talk about.

It means what it says. Stand up straight, look him in the face, and be willing to accept Cuomo's response. If I had meant fight, I would have said it in one form or another. Now, a fight might happen if both guys choose to escalate it, but that's their choice. If you're going to talk trash to somebody, have the balls to stand your ground when they respond. Don't act like you're being victimized.

I don't think the guy was playing the victim card. He got exactly what he wanted, for Fredo to become unhinged on video. Would have been a bonus if Fredo actually hit him because the dude would have also won a lawsuit. But Fredo was never going to actually hit him though. He just has to act tough. I can't even count the number of times in my younger days I heard "if it wasn't for X I would take you out...." So no intention to fight, just running his mouth.

It kinda means a prelude to fighting to most of us....

    toe-to-toe
    adv
in one-to-one combat or in direct competition: there aren't many fighters willing to go toe-to-toe with him.
    adj
(of battles, confrontations, or contests) involving two people or groups fighting with or competing against each other: atoe-to-toe battle.
    n
a fight, confrontation, or contest between two people or groups

Which is obnoxious as Hell... I'll give him a pass for being mad at the guy and the cussing...

... but threatening to pick a fight when he actually wasn't willing to throw the first punch is real weak sauce. So is equating the N-word with being called, "Fredo." LMAO:D

But he was mad, I get it... We should just move on...

The video went viral, that's what he ultimately wanted. In addition to hoping Cuomo would he punished or fired by CNN.

It was a set up from the beginning.

Are you sure it was a set up? In the video you can hear him ask for a picture. I thought Cuomo's response was totally over the top, especially since Cuomo has referred to himself as Fredo in the past. Your point sovietgator does make me wonder if this was actually orchestrated by CNN in hopes of making Cuomo's ratings go up.

So many of these supposed 'caught in the act / spur of the moment' vids are actually fake.

Social media has driven so many people to seek out quick and easy fame and fortune. We are well past the old 15 minutes of fame.

It doesn't matter to me who orchestrated it, I have no affinity for any of the talking head puppets on network TV. Same goes for their networks and their corporate overlords (advertisers).

But a prelude to fighting isn't a fight. If I had meant fighting, I would have said, "Stand toe to toe and throw hands" or "Stand toe to toe and go at it" or something along those lines. Regardless, I'm not interested in arguing semantics. If you want call names to a person, don't play the victim.

He was definitely acting like a victim.

    To sum it all up...

    - Some random douche bag insults Cuomo

    - Cuomo overreacts and cusses out / threatens said douche bag

    - Cuomo deservedly gets negative media coverage on his reaction

    - Trump gets more animated and sincere in insulting and antagonizing Cuomo for cussing some guy out, than he does in decrying white nationalist violence after mass murders.

So you have no idea how using a phase that originated with boxing and neans fighting based on the dictionary definition could be interpreted as fighting by the the food people at Too Hot? Ok.

I guess you are the only one that thinks this wasn't a setup if you think that guy is some kind of victim. He was trying to do whatever it took to piss off Fredo and get good video for his twitter.

For Fox News and the Trump campaign is more like it.
