FSU just flipped 3 star Tate Rodemaker from USF so now we know why dumped Sims.

...stand by for a recruiting bump to 4 stars by the Nole mods. It’s tradition.

If they do him like that previously unranked tight end that committed early in the year the Tatester will be a 6 star.

Auburn has been on probation for football-related violations more than any university, though I would agree that Bama and fsu have been just as dirty over the last 50 years. Bama has been protected by Bear's and Saban's influence, as fsu was protected by Bobby's. I'd love to see them all get their come-uppance, but I'm not holding my breath.

Any coach that wins two National Championships in 5 years and then leaves for a year for health reasons is okay in my book. Who cares if he went to Ohio State a year later?? He only won one National Title for OSU in a longer coaching period. Spurrier went to South Carolina in our same division in the SEC East, despite having plenty of opportunities to choose from. Not sir why the dislike for Urban, given what he did for us??

I think he is a fantastic coach, but like so many of them, ethically challenged. His handling of the Zach Smith debacle was just a "WTF were you doing" moment. I kind of have a problem with coaches that have "zero tolerance" for abuse of women knowingly protecting an abuser within their own staff.

I do appreciate what he did as coach here, but I don't believe for a moment that it was done without using the same tactics that he used at OSU and elsewhere.
