On the first weekend of official visits in college football, the Florida Gators held one of the most star-studded visitors lists in the nation.

Welcoming a bevy of elite-tier talent to campus, Billy Napier’s program hit the ground running to make the 2024 cycle the “class that will change the program,” as several commits have expressed to this point.

There is no question the difference in the amount of talent visiting vs the last few regimes. Closing? I’m going to reserve judgment until the LOI’s are in.

We are so lucky to have him working for us. It's crucial after a 6 win season and facing another tough year this year.

Wish Lagway had been working Moore as hard as he's working Smith.

The talented players have always come to visit UF....they've just signed elsewhere the last 12 years or so.

We had a very talented class come in last year but had to save room for the portal. Hopefully, this next class can use less portal and get more young talent. I guess after the season we will see how many immediate needs we still have.

We've had some decent kids come for visits. But this year is by far a huge shift in talent. We need to land some of the premier kids and it appears to be a high probability with Lagway already working it pretty hard. The other top kids are listening, for sure. He ain't no 2 star kid grovelling. He's a five star baller people look up to.

We'll see. It's about time the cycle turns in our favor. Need to get these top kids, get them coached up and win some freaking games!!

    Go Gators.:)

Off topic, but wondering if knee pads are a thing of the past?

They seem to be. Funny, they don't mind leaving their knees unprotected all year long, but, then they opt out for NFL-bound "safety" in every bowl game outside of the playoffs now.

It seems like it was just a couple of years ago that you would get an equipment penalty for pants that didn't cover the knee.
