@swampbabe - congrats on your upcoming retirement. You have gone above and beyond and we should all thank you for your service. To your decision, I know you will make the right one. It's your call. The sad thing is that the politics in FL have given you pause.

 

It’s unlikely these maniacs make you a target. Also, they are indeed maniacs and embolden their soldiers daily.

It could happen. No teacher or student thought they’d actually be the one.

Your contribution to society is long fulfilled.

If not too late, did anyone else mention Jacinda Ahern? Plus Sen. Tammy Duckworth would likely be VP now but for fear than an unprincipled DT appointee would rule her ineligible. Combat vet and first US Senator to give birth while in office

 

Congratulations on 41 years and your upcoming retirement. Glad you are wrapping up your career on your terms.

I would also like to add this lack of confidence seems to be more and more prevalent in both genders over the last 5 years or so, based on my observations. Many (too many), new college hires come in feeling confident and do learn quickly, but on the occasions where we have to leave our systems and improvise a solution they almost go into a shell.

All of the women that will be covered in your course either didn’t have a system to stay in or it didn’t work for them. It will be good to teach them that often the answers to their questions can be found from within and can be solved with innovation, thought, hard work, and perseverance. Hopefully they see this in the women that they learn about.

 

Depends on the pay.

 

As are the millions of mothers that don’t give any support to the teachers at home and then wonder why their kids struggle in school.

 

See, this is why teaching a class that touches on politicians of the last 30 years or so of either sex is very touch. You think she had a positive impact. I think it was negative. And her crowning achievement was to be such a terrible political candidate that she managed to get Trump elected. Still think that is positive?

 

If Hillary is to be included in the course, so should non-political criminals like Ma Barker and Bonnie Parker.

 

Go with law studies.
