"Will Deion be a package deal with his son? During the interview with Patrick, Deion said he'd ]even consider coaching at Miami (one of Florida State's biggest rivals) if the job came open and his son wanted to go there. “You never know. Why not?” He added that he and his son were going to visit Miami on Saturday."

Please. Please. Please let this happen.

"I’m going to be a head coach in college football next year," he said. When Patrick followed up by asking where, Sanders replied, “Somewhere. I’m that definite. I’m that assured that I am.”

Earlier this offseason, Sanders was being linked to the Florida State job. Though the job at Sanders' alma mater eventually went to Mike Norvell, Sanders issued a statement on the search at one point. It was also reported that Sanders was working on assembling a star-studded coaching staff should he land a job in the college ranks.

Maybe he could actually attend classes and earn a degree while he’s the HBC. He’s not a competent All Star coach let alone a collegiate HBC or even staff member.

    A college HEAD coach?

He sure was a great player... ...but taking over the gig as a head coach at the collegiate level would seem to be a real leap of faith and risk for a college program. There is a whole lot to the job other than just coaching.

Assembling an all star coaching staff... what an idea, why don't more coaches try that!

I was listening to 1010xl sports radio and every single person on that show said he will be a coach at a lower level division and that they can’t see him being hired by a power 5 team. They went on to explain how he doesn’t know the rules regarding recruiting...just one example.

He would be a great hire at a nobody school in the south that needs a jolt/ something to make their program relevant.

He would be an awful hire for a good program or any program that wants to actually make noise I’m the national football picture. He would be a joke at any P5 school.

Don't you need a degree to coach college football?

I'd laugh my ass off if the Noles hired him if Norvell fails.

He would be a great hire at any fine school that has a burning desire to go on probation.

He’d be a joke as a HBC in any collegiate division. Not sure he’d make a good HS Coach. More flash than substance.

Why I think he’d be good at an irrelevant college school is that he brings a name and will be able to recruit. If he surrounds himself with some good people you never know.
Let’s be clear. I ONLY say this about a crappy no name school that needs to become relevant for the purpose of the shot in the arm that would help meet that need

Deon would be more like a "baggage deal," not a package deal.

He could be a DB coach at some small school, but HBC? No freaking way...

I mean the guy has already involved himself at South Carolina by calling out the baseball coach for not giving Shilo a shot at baseball.

If you don’t know, just google it. It was not a good look.

Yikes. Can't imagine a low 3 star player is worth that head ache, plus knowing muschamps recruiting there's roughly 25 other cornerbacks already on the roster
