Most experienced OC he’s hired since he’s been a head coach.. Georgia fans were really wanting him back to replace Coley..

The #1DL recruit that Muschamp took from UF to Auburn ended up being a bust for Auburn. Yet Muschamp still got another big pay day at USCe.

I don’t know if I’d use the term excited. Hopeful? I’m not sure it will make a difference, since Muschamp is on thin ice. I do think he’s a good OC and is probably the best we could do. He’s definitely a good fit for Ryan Hilinski who’s more of a pro style QB.

I think Bobo has a better track record as far as college OC. Charlie was good in New England and was average college coach.

He was only good with Tom Brady. I'm fairly confident any GC poster, even those who never come to the football section, would look like a good OC in that situation. Bill Belichick did an interview about Tom fixing coaching mistakes and masking bad calls himself.

Good hire. Bobo is a good OC and knows Georgia better than anyone and knows N. Fla. great call that might buy champ time.

You should be excited. Champ jumped on the opportunity to get the best guy available and he did.

Muschamp may have hired his replacement. An offense minded coach with HC experience. I can see it now. Muschamp gets canned during the season, Bobo takes over as interim, and opens things up. Hmmm.

You will eventually find out like we did that it doesn't matter who the OC is they will run Muschamp's offense. So in essence, Muschamp has been and always will be the OC.

If he wants to be a head coach he has no choice, but to get an experienced OC. This is it for him this year. If he gets fired he will be a DC the rest of his career.

I do think at least with Bobo he can trust him to run an offense. I doubt Bobo takes the job with hardly any control.

their is no fan at SC that doesn’t appreciate what Coach Spurrier did at SC, but when the man himself comes out and says I wish I had left the program better off, then maybe complaints are warranted..

The program wasn’t left completely bare, but he didn’t leave it with good depth. Noah would have had a hard time finding 2 of anything.

I love Coach Spurrier, but he quit recruiting and then he quit’s mid season.. you’re gonna get criticized, wrong or right. The fact is Coach Spurrier loves South Carolina and it hurts him how he left the program.

Jerri still donates to the school and tries to attend many sporting events as possible.

agree... he developed many good QB’s at UGA... the fans down there I remember treated him like crap, yet they would love to have him back now..

I think Coach Bobo is a good coach.

I still have to admit that to me, that South Carolina beating Georgia, at Athens no less, had to be the biggest upset in the 2019 regular season. I didn’t see any of the game on TV at the time, just considered it an automatic win for UGA. If I ever happen to see a replay on TV, it’ll be interesting to see how it all happened.

Getting hired as head coach to replace Chump is probably the only way Bobo lasts longer than a year at USCe.

$2+mil is definitely cheaper than $20mil.

South Carolina: Mike Bobo will join the staff as offensive coordinator on a 2-year deal worth more than $1 million a year, tweets ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg.

I think if Lumpy gets canned within 2 years during the season, Bobo would likely be the interim HC.
