"The crooked FBI." I recall when conservatives respected law enforcement. That was before they fell at the feet of their idol, Trump (still cannot for the life of me figure out why).

Crooked top of the FBI might be a better term.

Yeah, the worst are those emotionally weak and insecure folks that need to glom onto some sort of substitute authority figure as a schtick. But that is just the rational part of me talking.;)

So your evidence that it was made up is that it is fake news and it is fake news because it was made up? Seems a bit circular to me. Then you guessed what happened. That doesn't seem like evidence to me either.

So you have not provided any evidence. Do you have any of that outside of circular reasoning and guesses?

Since the lawyer was on a mission from the Kremlin (according to Goldstein's email), she would have been a very poor operative if she had told Simpson that she was meeting Junior, Kushner and Manafort the next day. Simpson had "no need to know."

Uh huh. His incessant attempts to discredit the whole thing bely this very generous characterization.

Or, maybe he isn't worried because the whole thing is bogus and he's making statements to that effect. He's definitely portraying less concern about Mueller's investigation than the Democrats keep expressing about whether he might fire Mueller. He hasn't even admitted that it's a possibility.

Unlike Bush Derangement Syndrome, Obama Derangement Syndrome or Clinton Derangement Syndrome which concern obsessions of the opponents of the individuals for which the syndrome is named Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) refers to the mental state of the individual from which the syndrome derives its name and it is indeed a debilitating disease.

The crooked FBI had investigations going on both candidates but you only heard about Hillary’s before the election.

So who did they help get elected?

And, they never mentioned the Trump investigation even though Comey announced that he was re-opening the e-mail investigation.

Meanwhile, HRC was funding the Fusion GPS investigation to help get elected, but never released the information before the election.

Simpson noted that the Steele memos were given to Comey after the election. Steele stopped communicating with the FBI because he did not trust them after the Comey announcement.

Steele's contact with the FBI was a meeting in Rome and the FBI agent corroborated that there was already an investigation.

And, Simpson testified that: a) foreign intelligence services reported collusion to the FBI; and b) before the Papadapolous disclosure to Alexander became public, that a trigger for the investigation was a source inside the campaign. Unless there was also an informant in the campaign.

Destroys the whole "fake dossier" was the basis for the FISA warrants narrative.

NBC News is reporting the mole was either the Aussie or PapaJohns, not someone new.

The words of a guy who isn't bothered one bit by the existence of an investigation. Nope, not at all. Not even thinking about it really. BTW no collusion. But, even if there was collusion - and I'm not saying there was - it would be ok. Did I mention no collusion??!!

That is my assumption, too. The FBI time line, most likely is: a) DNC hack; b) Australian Papadapolos report; c) reports (including intercepts by friendly intel agencies; d) meeting with Steele. Proper counter-intel and criminal investigative work would be to use this information to support a warrant.

Just as the charges against Papadapolous were a surprise because his involvement was unknown, the reports of international intelligence agencies are also unknown.

A good book to read is Collusion by Luke Harding of the Guardian. He goes into some of the financial ties and relationships that show the "why."

Grassley's and Graham's referral of Steele for criminal prosecution for a non-material error is an absolute disgrace. Who would ever want to report wrong doing against a politician here?

Lindsey Graham is lost without John McCain.

I think the media has pivoted from thinking something impeachable will come out of special prosecutor to Trump is mentally ill and will be removed from office by the 25th amendment. Its almost comical how they move in lockstep.

We heard that in January. Heard it again in February, again in March. When is this end game supposed to happen?
