The House Intelligence Committee two weeks ago made the announcement that they couldn't find any evidence of collusion.....

but for some reason I don't remember you posting that bit of news. Odd

Republican-held House Intelligence Committee concludes Trump campaign didn’t collude with Russia - NY Daily News

I agree with you on the borders but what does that have to do with Mueller, a Republican, working for Rosenstein, a Republican, investigating Russian election interference because Sessions, a 3d Republican, lied about meeting with Russians and had to recuse himself from Russian related matters.

Illegal immigration does not destroy culture or democracy. What is it about a Mexican, African, Jew, Muslim, or Norweigan entering the country that destroys our culture or democracy? Why don’t you just say what you really mean because a lot of us know what you mean.

Because the House report was clearly a partisan hack job - the minority members strongly disagreed with major aspects of the report as well as the decision by the Republican majority to limit the investigation and witnesses called. The Senate committee, on the other hand, is producing bi-partisan results that are not just a rubber-stamp of the Republican leadership's marching orders.

We know that Russia 'stole' 20% of our Uranium ore on a deal with the Dems... Why one Earth would the Russians want to hurt that GRAVY TRAIN? That's something that no one of the Left can explain. Why not let the imbecile Hillary win the election? Why take the other side? THAT MAKES ZERO SENSE... Unless the testimony by some of the couplets (Brennan and Clapper) in the Uranium One deal swayed these clowns in the Senate?

All of this is bunch of crap... We know the real crimes are waiting for the U.S. Congress to investigate... And Comey, Clapper and Brennan are in serious crap for covering up that Uranium One deal. They hid the truth from the U.S. Congress and the general public.

So because the democrats complained it made the findings invalid?

    Yeah that makes sense

Nunes (a proven liar at this point) publishing a partisan report when some of his own committee members like Gowdy discredited him is a bit like the fox saying “no hens here” while guarding the hen house.

Gowdy splits with GOP Intel Committee, says Russia worked against Clinton

even if the rooskies did this-which I have my doubts- there is nothing that ties Trump to any of it

How is the fact that Gowdy said that Russia worked against Clinton a contradiction to the findings that there was no collusion? Did Gowdy say that there was collusion? Please cite that......

you do realize that they are two separate and distinct issues right?

They're attempting to conflate the issues. That if there was Russian action of any sort, that there was collusion with the Trump campaign.

    Yes I do realize that.

Believe it or not, Democrats can read.

Nune’s findings were that there was no interference, completely contrary to what the IC community has determined, and to what the Senate committee released today. Read the article I posted.

    He’s a clown.

They were right about the first two reasons, but not the third.

The Russians didn't think Trump was going to win. Nobody did. Right up until election night, virtually all of the world's biggest brainiac stats nerds were united in confidently predicting that Clinton would comfortably cruise to victory.

That being the case I really don't believe the Russians thought their little social media propaganda campaign would actually make a difference in the outcome of the election. They were just trying to foment dissension in the electorate at large by trolling and antagonizing Trump supporters, who they expected to be the losers, to make them more discontented with the outcome and less supportive of the president, who they expected to be Clinton.

Bait and switch title. I read the link.

Burr said Russia interfered, not that Russia tried to help Trump and hurt Hillary.

The latter was said by Sen Warner, a democrat.

Senate releases Trump Tower transcripts (helps Trump!)

    From the piece:

The committee released more than 1,800 pages of transcripts of interviews with Trump’s son and others who attended a June 9, 2016, meeting at which they expected to receive dirt about Trump’s opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton. In these hundreds of pages of transcripts, there remains not one shred of evidence of collusion.

It wasn’t from a lack of trying by investigators. Trump Jr. deflected multiple questions during the interview on Russia, saying he couldn’t recall whether he discussed the probe with his father and whether he spoke with his dad on the day the meeting was arranged.

Trump Junior, Goldstone et. al. did not confess? Shocking!:emoji_upside_down: They were offered for and asked for dirt on HRC; were told about Russian unhappiness with the Magnitsky Act at the meeting; the Trumps publicly changed the sanctions platform on Ukraine; the DNC emails were released; and Flynn told Kislyak they were going to lift the sanctions. Looks like they got the message at the meeting.

This is exactly right based on what we know to date.

    Well put.
