Self Checkout

I used to do that before they installed self-checkout.

You know - there are still cashiers at the self check out. So all is not lost....

 

Coupons. I like being able to negotiate or cajole the nice check out person to accept my expired coupon.

 

Do you write checks too?

 

Well, at self-checkout you can basically just steal it directly instead of this protracted method.

 

I hadn’t come across that in a year or two until I was at Target a couple months ago. I wasn’t annoyed like in the past - more impressed by someone’s persistence in the antiquated.
