Secret Service politicized personnel putting President Trump at risk again.

The Secret Service seriously screwed up in Butler, PA. They did their job in Florida. Routh never got remotely close to getting off a shot at Trump before he was detected and fled. Absolutely securing the perimeter of a golf course which borders busy public roads would have required hundreds of Secret Service agents and/or state and local law enforcement officers and would have required the closure of every road bordering the course. Not exactly feasible. I would also add that Obama played most of his golf on courses at Ft. Belvoir and Joint Base Andrews. Golf courses on military bases are far easier to secure than courses bordering busy public roads.

 

The chances of it happening there again are incredibly small. A similar attempt at one of Trump's other courses that border busy public roads is more likely although still extremely small. i don't know how you define "doing a good job" but I would consider preventing an attempted assassination a good job considering that Routh didn't come remotely close to even attempting a shot.

 

The counter snipers had a good view of that dirt-bag and yet, the shooter still got 8 rounds off before they shot him dead? They can never explain that one.
