My god, he is weird, yes, but he did not murder a kid. We all know the incident you’re referring to. It was a complete accident (ie not murder) that Kelly had no direct hand in.

What would you believe, it's an accident, or someone who said something like this:

Brian Kelly “I’m in favor of execution, Maybe our entire team needs to be executed after tonight”

That was a John McKay quote about his Tampa Bay Bucs

I know. But Brian Kelly meant it. He's a murderer. Don't be an apologist for that homicidal maniac.

I’m not apologizing for anything - just pointing out that that’s someone else’s quote

If you are saying Kelly didn’t push over the crane that killed the kid you would be right. If you are saying he didn’t callously continue to have the kid film up in a crane with dangerously high winds, you would be wrong. It ultimately cost that kid his life.

Yes, I’m sure Brian Kelly was the one directly responsible for the kid being on the crane in the first place. I’m sure Kelly’s staff tried to warn him about the windy conditions and Kelly told the kid to get his butt back up there. I’m sure that’s how it happened. Had to have happened just like that, because after all, we were supposed to have the better hire this past off-season and Kelly was just a joke coach who grinds on his players in weird, cringy dance videos. It can’t just be that accidents happen and when you have 100s of people in and around your program, unfortunately, accidents happen. No. It has to be Brian Kelly is a cold-blooded murderer who just happened to take LSU right back to the top through shrewd and ballsy coaching. Can’t let LSU win. Can’t beat ‘em on the field? Coach is a murderer!! Yeah!!! That’ll teach them damn LSU fans!!

So by this kind of logic Steve Spurrier killed Eraste Autin, right? Come on dude, you’re better than that.

Joe Pa didn’t rape any players either. But putting people between yourself and your responsibility doesn’t absolve you of those responsibilities. It’s interesting how winning coaches get a free pass on just about everything.
