Bamas offense is just too vanilla. Looks like a boring nfl team vs an innovative college offense like they have been. But clearly they are lacking playmakers on offense

There's a better chance than I'm comfortable with that he'll build a monster down there. I know Les won one and played for one, but those were cases of just being too talented to be held back by average coaching.

Saban in 2003 and that 2019 team where Orgeron just hired good coaches and stayed out of the way were both flashes of what LSU can be. I the Kelly is a detestable person, but he's a good coach who never had the talent to win it all in the postseason. That won't be an issue anymore.

He’s a proven commodity. I wouldn’t say better just yet. I like who we got as UF has always been about young up and comers instead of old and wishful thinking

Bama just ain't what they used to be. Their defense is light years away from their D in the championship years. Father Time is catching up to Saban. We can no longer count on Bama to crush our rivals. Maybe our best Florida HS recruits will now stop crossing the border for that program on the decline.

Am I mistaken that LSU’s roster was depleted, having less than 50 scholarship players when Kelly arrived? They looked extremely talented and their offensive scheme was impressive. Not to mention, Kelly showed in-game nuts, awareness, and clock management.

It’s going to be really interesting over the next couple of years how things play out with NIL and portal.

Most likely. He's beaten an upstart Napier, Kiffen, and now Saban. If he beats Georgia in the SECCG, then I expect maybe even NCOTY. TCU's coach might have a shot at it but I don't see anyone else.

You’re a bunch of drama queens. Great game with LSU dumping Bama off the mountain, and your immediate reaction is how we should have hired Brian Kelly instead of Billy Napier. You’re the sorriest collection of football fans I’ve ever encountered. I’ve run into plenty of obnoxious people out there, but you’re worse - whiny little girls turning everything into OMG hysteria. You embarrass yourselves

What's crazy is Kelly might get a raise
I'm sure there's some incentives in his contact if he gets to Atlanta wins the SECCG and NC.

It would not shock me to see them lose to Arkansas next week after this emotional high.

    Dang it, had Alabama -13.5.
So, who will challenge uga in the SEC CG? LSU? Ole Miss?
Looks like uga may win the BCS again this year? Ugh...
Maybe UM or OSU can challenge uga?

I wouldn't call it decline. There are more HBC from the Saban machine that you have more parity. You can't expect to keep hiring scores of 5 star coaches without having one or 2 go bust. You also can't expect that all 5 star players pan out. Kirby was with Saban long enough that the true defensive mind is now coaching at Georgia. Much like the true offensive mind at Florida under Meyer was Mullen.
