Missouri players play disciplined and with intensity. Still early in the game; but I may have to adjust my thoughts about Drinkwitz.
Missou has no talent at QB. Lost 2 QBs to injuries. Starting QB is a true freshman 2nd and 3rd string are walk ons.
He just gave up a second chance for an easier field goal for a long shot 4th conversion and came up empty. Not the best decision.
Mizzou has only beaten teams with losing records. Their out of conference schedule is a joke. That is why they have all these high stat numbers
Most teams outside of the elite programs can weather their starting QB going down. If I picked any of the Top 10, I can count maybe 2 or 3 that could keep playing without a blip. I'm not knocking Drink because they were competitive in the 1st half. He just doesn't have much of a 2nd or 3rd string QB. Cook was pretty good too for Mizzou, had over 9100 yards in his career there along with 47 TDs and 15 INTs. Drink also prefers a balanced offense, his teams typically run the ball better than we have, twice in the last 4 years Mizzou had a RB with over 1,600 yards in a season. This season they have their 3rd different RB possibly finishing with 1600 yards. It's just that A&M has a really good defense which isn't surprising considering Elko is damn fine DC.
