Lewis arrives at the 2:38 mark. Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. A lot of players are good, but if they step onto this type environment they crumble. Several great highlights by Lewis including a very impressive looking outside shot.

Guys... get off the damn court! If Scottie rolls an ankle on one of you fools... you will not want to see me in Big Queens! ;)

That outside jumper is looking goooood! Great form, nice arc.

Man do i love his intensity. He's a fierce competitor. Definitely going to rub off on our guys this year. He's a born leader too.

That drive down the lane and vicious dunk was a thing of beauty

The outside shot did appear to be improved, good form on his jumper.

Yep. I hope he doesn't play in that thing again. Even when the crowd is not creeping onto the court, they're right on the baseline, making it hard to drive the lane without stepping on someone's foot.

Lots of good D-1 talent on display there but Scottie stands out amongst them all. He's a Gator star from Day 1, no doubt about it.

TBH, he's always had great shot mechanics. His issue has been lack of reps that has produced lack of confidence to shoot it, so he's typically just taken the ball to the rim, which is easy to do in HS. He has been working overtime to get consistent as a shooter so he'll have a well rounded offensive game this season at UF

If he was a little slower and had better grades, he'd be Brad Beal.

Joakim Noah credits playing NYC street ball in the off season for greatly helping his improvement.

Are we recruiting him? I would hope, guy looks like he will be a solid player.

Also love Scottie's competitiveness. He seems like a quiet dude, but on the court, he is another person.

Scottie is far, far, far from a quiet guy. You can find a video on YouTube where he goes one on one against his buddy, Bryan Antoine. It will give you a good feel for Scottie’s outgoing personality and his much maligned jump shot. It’s fun to watch.

I have no idea, some of these kids don't qualify academically so we don't bother recruiting them. I would think that's probably the case, but not 100%.

Side note.... The kid with the curls/bleached hair whom Scottie abused has offers from FSU, Cincy, Iowa St, Kansas St, UConn, Xavier, among others so he didn't just blow by a bum player.
