Actually, Scottie might be enough scoring and rebounding inside. Might not need a center anymore. Just kidding. Kind of.

3 things. First, no one said a word about why Tre did not take a 2nd dunk. Seems like he must have gotten injured. Second, it’s ridiculous that the girl gets to compete with the boys. She’s getting 10’s on dunks that the boys would have gotten the minimum of 7. Third, there is a practice session that will be on television tomorrow.

A 7? The boys would have been laughed out of the gym with her dunks. Anyway, sign of the times. She had 20 girls bum-rushing her cheering and take videos the second she finished, so kind of difficult not to give out 10's without serious backlash. It's like saying no to your wife when she wants sexy time. Goes over like a lead balloon.

    Here's Scottie doing a 360 in the 7th grade.

    Yes. A 360. In the 7th.grade.

I think that 7 was the minimum score. The bottom line is that every player on the boys' squad could dunk better than the girl who won the competition. So, the competition is a farce. Have a combined 3-point event and other combined skill events, but the dunk contest should just be for boys.

Gotcha. Yes complete farce. If she can be in the dunk contest against the boys she should have to play against boys in league play. Otherwise complete jokes like this 'let's pat ourselves on the back because we're girls' charade will happen again. Leave the women can do anything a man can do to Hollywood and their feminist hype machine.

ESPN is televising the women's NCAA tournament this week. A perfect lead in for the 4 letter hype machine. :monkey:

I noticed that also. He scored a 76 (out of 80) on his first dunk and was in third behind Scottie and the girl. And then never did his second dunk. Hope it was nothing serious. Guess we will see with the game coming up.

Lol, I think you're taking this more serious than anyone who's involved in it. The dunk contest fell off years ago. Used to be big time, now it's not. Really the whole McDonald's AA event has fallen off. I remember watching when David Lee and James White were in it. Then remember LeBron's year too.

Scottie looked thin. Looks like an all American two guard. The position he will play in the pros. No more guards playing up front.

Glad I wasn't watching as this would have enraged me. It just reminds me why I don't watch ESPN anymore, other than games and maybe the College Gameday guys (b-ball only).

Clearly the outcome was pre-determined. Typical ESPN nonsense.

So we're now thinking that SL and TM are not just retreads of JH and KA?

He probably figured the girl was going to be given the win and decided not to continue.

Not surprisingly. To be PC, they had to give it to the female participant.

Ha perhaps, but I take my dunk contests seriously, especially when there's future Gators involved ;)

Not even close. Have you seen Scottie or watched any of his interviews? He couldn't be more different.
