Sitting in Dallas airport now, not a fan. Plane has a computer issue but good news is we will be taking off soon heading out of tejas.

 

When I was at UF, I played basketball on Saturdays with a guy who was in the army National Guard or reserve. I happen to mention to that I had a summer job coming up in Port Arthur, Texas, the very southeast corner of the state.

This guy said he was going to do his summer two-weeks duty in El Paso, and that we should get together on the weekend between the weeks. He was stunned when I told him that Port Arthur, Texas was halfway between Gainesville and El Paso!
