Not good here. 2021 recruit out of Lakeland
I do not want to click on that video.
The only Rays game I’ve ever been to was the one where their pitcher took a line drive square on his head. We thought he might be dead at first... scary stuff. I hope he fully recovered.
Yeah, no chance I am watching that video but I wish nothing but the best to that kid. UF and baseball notwithstanding, he has many, many years ahead and God willing he will get to see them all and enjoy them at full capacity. Prayers...
Any update on Mr. Sloan would be appreciated.
Prayers that the kid fully recovers!!
Gosh that is horrible. Prayers for this young man.
I did not watch the clip, but I can image what it looked like. Just an awful thing.
Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.
Honestly, I don’t know how many times I’ve been on the field or in the dugout and witnessed this injury. It is never a sight you look forward to for sure. I will skip the graphic details of injuries I’ve seen, but you said it well—“Just an awful thing”.....
A post on the pay side says he is alert and eating but not out of the woods.
No idea of accuracy.
That is accurate. I don't know how public the family wants the situation to be so I'll just say he is making progress and hopes to leave the ICU soon. Keep the prayers coming.
Pay board says he is being released today and heading home. More tests, etc to come.
