2 ankle surgeries that no other school does on their players and now another injury (that appears serious) in a meaningless game they were leading big in.

Absolutely disgusting disregard for a player's safety and future. Two years in a row they trot him out a couple weeks after ankle surgery because they need him to win a game, and that's before the abusive treatment of the kid today. He probably shouldn't have even started today let alone been in the game on that series. Saban needs to be called out on this.

Saban being greedy, probably trying to get Tua through the 1st half

Hindsight is 20/20. Mac Jones was warming up on the sideline to come in. Tua wanted to finish the drive.

This is also why I’m 100% off the Tanking for Tua train with Miami. Why blow a top pick on Tua who will get destroyed behind an awful line? Trade it to someone desperate for more picks.

I don't fault him too much. They're fighting for a playoff spot and need to win impressively. The injury is very unfortunate but it's a part of the game.

I'd tank for Burrow. I think he is the real deal

The dolphins have plenty of picks in the first three rounds to pick up a couple elite linemen. They also have a ton of cap room next year if they want to go free agency. It absolutely makes sense to get a QB if they’re there including Tua.

That said, they’re not trending toward a top 3 pick anyway.

He's running through a meat grinder to benefit his own hide like a NFL coach would. Sort of like a RG3 but in the NCAA.

I wonder if Tua could make it a season in the NFL. Doesbt seem durable.

    Nobody's more desperate than us...

But I'd rather be patient than waste a pick on the wrong guy...

Definitely trade for more picks, unless there's another QB you'd take in the same spot...

Dabo did similar things with Watson. Fortunately for Clemson, ACC defenses are really bad.
