Is Saban’s time at Bama winding down? The way they’ve played this year has not been up to par for Alabama. And then what really got me was when Saban started making comments about fans being spoiled and not grateful for the work put in. Reminded me of how Spurrier got worn down by the pressure and expectations of being perfect all the time and then bolted for the NFL. Except Nicky would retire and go to TV, not to the NFL.

He'll probably slow down a little over the next 20 years.

They've had the occasional off year -- this year feels different. That was not a great Auburn team they just struggled mightily against. And they have no shot at beating Georgia. GA has all the recruiting momentum -- Saban wins because he has the best players. May not be the case moving forward -- and he'll take his ball and go home.

I'm not sure about that. They had 10 (yes 10!) players drafted last year. They knew this was a rebuilding year, and by their standards that still means they only lost one close game and are headed to the SECCG and possibly the CFP.

Plan is to move up to UF to get his feet wet in the SEC pressure cooker for two or three years first.

QB is elite and the team is not as good as some past Bama teams but not sure this means the program is going to go backwards. They can still beat UGA once but not sure they can beat them twice which is what they would have to do this year to win a national championship.

Auburn looked pretty stout today, particularly on defense. Wish we had that speed and toughness.

Weak to week tho, Auburn didn't look too hot losing to the Cowbells and SC and have now lost 4 straight to finish 6-6. New coach has to step it up to avoid the hook.

Bama should be fine for a couple years with that freshman QB. I'd take him in a heart beat

Can’t be winning 50-0 every game every year, they were due for a small pull back
