Come on…the dems on this board have been crying about Trump destroying the market and economy. This morning the S&P 500 futures were back over 6000. Pretty obvious what the point was…

The s&p was not above 6,000 when they posted. I'd argue that it's about 6,000 now because the courts sided with American patriots

And why are futures up? Could it be a coincidence that a court ruling against tariff increases came out late yesterday?

Because the economy is fine? The market is never going to stay flat? There is nothing abnormal about the market reacting to news. I would argue this reaction is the opposite of what I would have expected. But you don’t always get the reaction right.

Hmmm....can you find the moment in which the courts threw out Donald Trump's major economic policy?

It was over 6000 8 months ago, and until Trump took office ... Trump crashed it with his penguin tariffs chart,.now that he's chickened out and the market is recovering to where it was ... Glad the courts helped slap Trump down, too.

    Lol.

The markets are celebrating Trumps signature tariffs policy getting completely eviscerated, and now we’re back just about to square 1. Markets pretty much already called the bluffs anyway (the recent 50% EU tariffs were met with a yawn, and were reversed over a single weekend). I doubt that’s totally the end of it as Trump tends to handle courtroom defeats… less than graciously. The admin should take this off ramp… but we’ll see.

What does it mean when Trump says something dumb and the market goes down?

Exactly, Trump is corrupt and the tariff scheme was an insider trader's wet dream, which is why he doesn't mind losing the court cases - him and his buddies obviously cashed in on it.

What does is say about you that you hypocritically celebrate his corruption?

    Alot.

Apparently you never knew anything about Washington being a swamp until this administration.

You'd think a Gator would know that they were in one as they rolling around in the mud with the other cold-blooded Trump swamp creatures, but self-reflection seems to be completely missing from their character.

I'm sure Nancy and her husband made money on stock trades... Everyone wins... Trump is just now catching on.

Yeah, Nancy also got a $800 million dollar bribe aircraft publicly, right? Or $2 billion from the Saudis for his son-in-law or $2 billion from the Saudis for himself.

And I think they should all be in jail if they do inside trade.

You apparently revel in lawlessness, but go ahead and cry Hunter Biden one more time for the Big Guy - we already know it was Russian disinformation.

How's Trump doing on ending that war in 1 day again?

    Yeah, didn't think so.

You rubes keep eating it up when you aren't rolling in the pig shit and calling it a European spa.

Yeah, it is just hilarious that we have the most criminal president ever in the White House attempting to tear up the Constitution and fire anyone who can hold him accountable for his criminality.

Remember your choices when it all ends up on your doorstep - which is inevitable at this point.

Good lord the amount of mental gymnastics to brag about the market recovering in response to tariffs once again getting shut down as if its some sort of Trump victory. Add to that the same people that were claiming its because Bidens economy was smoke and mirrors and now we're saying the economy is fine. Which one is it? As trump himself said, this is still bidens market and economy and may be for the foreseeable future right?

Im not even an "anti-trumper" as I have rarely posted anything against him( not in support though either). I generally disdain both parties in their current renditions but you have to suspend reality to believe that every bit of uncertainty and subsequent market reactions aren't almost solely based on this garbage tariff hokey pokey dance.

Why do you call him a criminal? Because a real criminal (NY AG) trumped-up charges on him? He will either get those phony charges completely dropped, or he will pardon himself. NOT a criminal.
