Whomever said this kid was not that fast, or something along those lines, needs to get an eye exam.

That kid can fly!

 

11.3 isn’t elite but it’s pretty fast for a safety.

 

Gotta like a kid who scores 22 TDS and gets 70 tackles in the same season.

 

Same reason why some coaches try to make Linebackers out of running backs... stubborn idiots.

 

This interesting study says that it equates to a 4.6 40.

 

Not even close to Demps speed but still pretty sporty.

Jabbar Gaffney, Darrell Jackson, T. Jacobs aren’t the fastest WRs, but they all got open, caught a bunch of passes and scored TDs. All played in the NFL too.

 

Pretty sure we are recruiting him at safety.

 

He's an athlete, so they'll be able to find the best position for him to help the team.

 

He’s not slow

 

Hopefully we now have recruited a punt and kickoff returner and eliminated Mullen's version of this position...fair catch specialist.
