    To the person who disagreed with my post. Surely you don't disagree with me that FSU is beating UF in recruiting and on the field, right? If you disagree with FSU beating UF, please explain why.

    Great to see Robinson was the Player-to-Be-Named-Later for the Filsaime trade. Good get.

    One question. How can he enroll early for spring as is being reported? Aren't we past the Drop-Add period?

    No well run, legit business would throw this kind of money at an employee (especially an 18 year old) without contractual restraints in high end/high earner categories. Maybe even in lower salary ranges. Ever heard of non-compete provisions? They are ubiquitous in the business world.

    Unless it a local small business, who doesn't know better.

    Yes, headhunters poach, but not high end wage earners under contractual restraints, unless the new employer is willing to pony up cash. Most headhunters move lower level staff positions around.

    These kids are asking for hundreds of thousands, if not millions. No way in the real world does that get offered to employees without a contract or set of rules. No way would a well run business hand a kid half a million dollars, and let them them walk out the next year and go compete for a rival.
