I think he took it down because he got trolled pretty bad .
He stated that he is committed to FSU. I would add “for now” on to that statement.
FSU also just accepted the commitment of Curtis Fann.
Prime example of these kids not being taught what commitment means.
None of these Reddit posts open/appear for me.
Here is the relevant info from the link:
“I committed, but I don’t have a leader,” Hunter said. “I’m letting God handle it.”
That is what Derick Hunter had to say reguarding his recent commitment to FSU.
Urban got his QB yesterday so he'll leave Jalon alone. 4 star Dwan Mathis has flipped from Sparty to OSU.
Sounds like some people’s marriage vows! Committed but no leader!
Harbaugh has received 4 commits in 3 weeks from some decent players.
Mazi Smith 4* DT Grand Rapids, Mi. 6'3" 290 #123 in 247 (#7 DT)
Zach Charbonnet 4* RB Westlake village, CA #306 overall (#15 RB)
Charles Thomas 3* ILB IMG 6' 222 #397 overall (#16 ILB)
Erick All 3* TE Fairfield, Ohio 6'4" 225 #504 overall (#22 TE)
The reason I don't get the Tweets is because my Add Blocker kills such things and I don't consider them worth taking the time to unblock.
In sha Allah = God Willing.
In other words, If I decide not to come, it's only because God didn't want me to. This is perhaps the most common statement one hears when talking with Muslims. You don't hear it much with Yhwh followers, but it's somewhat common among Fundamentalist Christians also. A rather fascinating method of avoiding responsibility for tough decisions.
From what I can tell, he's still in play. One poster reported that ole slick willie is a great recruiter but then sort of stops talking to them after they're committed. I just had someone else tell me that the other day too.
Hunter can be flipped imo.
In other words..
some say we wont even try.
Oh, I dont think we'll stop. Obviously, the kid is torn and today, I heard that he might have felt a little pressured into committing early and now wants to keep taking visits and looking around.
Its the ones who show they feel pressured who are the ones that are a prime target to be flipped.
Still lots and lots of time to work on Hunter.
Good point Gray. Doesn't mean they will flip, but it indicates question regarding the decision.
I don't follow recruiting as much as I use to. Commitments really don't mean anything anymore. I figure Mullen has to get it done on the field before we get higher level/ranked players.
Well, if he's letting God handle it...then he's all Gator. Tim Tebow would never send him elsewhere.
I would have said a couple of weeks ago that we would let Hunter go elsewhere, but with the SDE board eroding quickly with Pickering, Handy, and Moore committed elsewhere, Young likely to Bama, and Fowler not being a sure flip, we may be circling back to Hunter.
Muschamp added a commitment from **** WR Keveon Mullins 6’2 207 from Memphis, TN.
