One of Tennessee's own has passed. I hate to bring news like this in my first thread (lost the account gatorpit), but I thought it was important to share. I know a few on here have followed him off and on over the years. His videos and reactions brought us a lot of laughs. He may have been a rival fan, but his passion and frustrations with his team was very relatable(especially given our last few seasons). RIP Big Vol Daddy; Prayers/thoughts for his family and friends. I know he’ll be tuned in from heaven, hoping his Vols make it to the playoffs!
Man, best season the Vols are likely to have for a long time, and he is going to miss the finish. Sad.
Oh c'mon man. I loved that guy. Guarantee you he would have been a friend to us all. Team colors notwithstanding. RIP. Prayers for those who loved him.
He was as steadfast as they come. He shared his thoughts and foibles with honesty and humanity you don't often encounter in today's world. RIP BVD, I'm truly sorry you didn't get to see your Vols in the POs.
Sad news, indeed. I enjoyed his videos for years. There have been many times I've felt his kind of frustration, but over my Gators. I'm sure there are others here that have felt the same way. RIP
His videos always brought a smile to my face. RIP BVD. May God comfort your family during this difficult time.
Thank you Clai - BVD was and is a legend. A truly honest and very genuine fan of one of our most hated rivals. I would have loved to have a beer with him. RIP to a noble rival. You will be missed
Ah man! BVD was always a good sport and loved his team. I ribbed him once or twice over the years in his live stream during the annual gator game and he always took it in stride. Just a good fan and a good dude. R.I.P.
BVD was a great fan! His early videos were a hoot. I remember one in particular where he was watching the UF-UT game alone sitting in a lazy boy in a darkened living room. It was one of the games where UF came back to win very late. It crushed him, again, he was nearly speechless, outside of a few choice words. He always came across as a really good guy. His health issues dominated his feed in last several years. It was very sad to watch. Poor lifestyle choices ultimately lead to his demise, what a shame. It was only fitting that he got to see his beloved Vols win his final game against the Gators. R.I.P. BVD
Y’all do BVD a solid today and beat Ole Miss. I guarantee he’d be pulling as hard for a gator win today as any other vol win.
