It was not expected that Dems would win the popular vote by over 9M votes in one of the largest midterm turnout elections in a century.

I see the article pulled out some demographics to reduce the bias but never adjusted for income from what i can see.

I’m fine generalizing but values aren’t defined by marriage success.

Finally I get the frustration with getting hit with Trump but you stand on higher ground when you don’t defend his more controversial moments and write them ALL off.

Trump is one of a kind. I don't try to defend him with some of his tweets.
Trump as an individual does not represent me and my values even though I'll likely vote for him again.

That's the thing. If you want to extend good faith to this organization, their own stated POV is that 'marriage' is essentially the core of what they conceive of as family values. Its not necessarily what I'd place at the center of what makes a strong family unit, and like you, if you don't include income and class elements, your study is ultimately useless information. Economic stability is going to solidify more marriages than voting Democrat or Republican.

But you do troll people on message boards by saying that they should be thanking him.

Sometimes the hate gets a bit much...agree? Just trying a little levity.

Not really, disliking or hating Trump seems a perfectly normal activity, especially since he's a genuinely horrible person. Now pretending to respect or admire a terrible person, that's gotta take a toll on one's sanity.

Well, you're voting for Trump to literally represent you. ;)

Sadly in 2016 I would've rather voted for Trump than HRC. Hell of a dilemma that we had in 2016. Judging by the results to date, it looks like Trump was the correct choice.

Judging by the results, I regret not voting for Hillary Clinton, and that is painful to say.

Troll much? Nowhere did I say I respect or admire Trump. Do you really know Donald's heart? How can you know....you're only speculating that he's horrible. How could you say that he is not a changed man? What if Trump is really trying in earnest to make America great again?
I like to believe he really is trying the best way he knows how. He isn't smooth because he is not a career politician.

    Obama is not a citizen
All Mexicans are rapists and murderers
A judge from Indiana can't rule fairly because he's Mexican
    Imitated a physically challenged reporter
    grabs them by the P
Loves to publicly chastise African-American women whenever he can
    Attacked Gold Star families
Likes soldiers who don't get captured (McCain sleight)
Refused to lower the WH flag when McCain died
Participated in a fraudulent Trump U scheme
    Had an illegal charitable foundation

    For starters...

I don't have to speculate that he's horrible.

Haha c'mon. Trump was a horrible person and figure of contempt many people mocked and disliked for non political reasons even before he became president or decided to run. Most of us didn't even have to flip a switch, the only thing that changed was now you have to hear about the guy on a daily basis, and he's got the dang nuclear codes and can legitimately get people killed. Also he's old as hell and he's not going to change at all, he is who he is.

Personally I consider Clinton's personal behavior indefensible but his party never claimed to be the party of family values.

When do you think this change occurred? The guy has cheated on his current wife with a porn star and a ex playmate and those are just the two people talk about. He also cheated on his two previous wives. His heart may be pure as the driven snow, but if it is then his brain seems to overrule it every time. Hard to believe that underneath all his actions there is a good man fighting to get out.

By their fruits you will know them.

It's a pretty good case. However, Hillary and Barack are the same. They're just professionals about their business. Trump is crazy candid and does screw up some times.
    Well played though.

Alright, fair enough. I guess it says more about you. You can't stop yourself from spewing the hate...every chance you get.
