In a pathetic effort to curry (word of the day) favor with their "Daddy," various Republicans have embarked on a mission to stamp the "Trump," brand on things. Nothing has ever been named after a sitting president, and most of it's certainly illegal. "Late last month, Florida Republican Rep. Greg Steube introduced a bill that would halt any funding for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority unless its name was changed. Steube, whose southwest Florida district is about 950 miles from Washington, proposed WMATA be rechristened the Washington Metropolitan Authority for Greater Access or … WMAGA." The legislation also called for Metrorail, the system’s flagship rail line, to be renamed the “Trump Train.” So, we have a Florida congressman legislating to replace WMATA with WMAGA, an absurd bit of virtue signaling. Halting funds if it's not done is just mandatory MAGA tactics. As for the "Trump Train," I'm not on board. Further examples of naming nonsense: -- Add him to Mt Rushmore -- Rename Dulles Airport to Trump International --Put his face on the $100.00 and $250.00 bill As Trump says, "stay tuned." I'm sure there will be more in about 2 weeks.
Now, if they would just do the right thing and put Trump's name (number) on the prison cell he were confined to it would be fantasitic.
