Thats a fair argument.....although I don't totally agree. I think he has great tools.
But it's also not the argument you made originally, the private school thing really has no legs

Vizzina has pretty impressive numbers against 6A competition, not tons of yardage but 16 TDS against four picks. Rushed for about five ypc and another 15 TDS. Went 10 and 2 last season. Looks to have some polish. Our coaches have seen a lot more film than we have. That’s good enough for me.

It reminds me of the 5* kid UGA signed last year. He too played for a private school who plays weak competition.
When you look at his stats vs Carlos Del Rio's stats, his were better. But, Del Rio played against the top competition as a JR and went down a classification as a SR.

Again, I won't pretend to know the competition level of their schedule...but they are playing big boy football in that class. As I mentioned, kids at Bolles, American heritage, Aquinas or playing quality competition at private schools

The Gators has offered to NC's DT Jamaal Jarrett. The 6-5 330 has over 20 offers including from Alabama, Georgia and Michigan. Also the Gators has re-offered to Denmark's OT Shamurad Umarov, the 6-6 300 has setup visits with Georgia and Michigan St, but not with UF yet. One more note South Carolina's 6- 7 283 OT Monroe Freeling has a lot of interest in the Gators, but Napier hasn't offered him a scholarship yet. One last note for now Napier has offered to Georgia's CJ Allen. He has said that he has a good relationship with UF and Bateman (UF LB's coach) and they talk about every other day, that Bateman its a great guy, also talks to Toney. Allen is visiting UF on March 19.

I believe Herschel Walker played at George's lowest classification and he did okay.

4* RB Rueben Owens the #18 ranked prospect in the 2023 class its looking to visit UF this Spring. 4* OT Samson Okunlola the #25 ranked player in the 2023 class its intrigued enough to visit UF this offseason, but a visit date has not been set, however he has been to Florida in the past once before. One more note 4* LB Troy Bowles the #37 ranked player out of the 2023 class has been in touch with the Gator staff that its looking to get him in campus this Spring, but a date has not been set.

Is it possible On3 is run by FSU guys? I ask because The according to them FSU is in on everybody and leads for most and we are far behind

Excellent info. Thanks for posting that.

Hoping we can get Webb on board. Nothing hurts more than losing a talented legacy to a hated rival.

nah not low. Gotta remember, while Billy may have had success already at a head coach, he is STILL “wait and see” status to a lot of these kids
