Absolutely not. Dude ruined Tebows NFL career
I wish Dan Quinn but he’s got the cowboys defense looking good
LSU’s DC if they’re dumb enough to clean house
You forget Mulls and him almost got into a fight last year.
Bears won a super bowl with a head coach and DC who wanted to kill each other.
His daughter is a Gator that plays on the lacrosse team though. Could be a nice setup.
Haha forgot about Buddy Ryan.
I think Manuel would be a great choice. Maybe he would bring a few of his friends.
It would also be nice to employ some former Gators that would stay for a few years. Build a family
Anyone that can put up with Mullen not named Grantham.
Collins or Diaz for the win! I'd be really excited with either of those guys to be honest.
No chance in Hell Dan Quinn goes back to college. I support every other person on this list, and Dan Quinn is great but to call that a pipedream would be an understatement.
From what I've seen of Diaz he seems to be too similar to Grantham for my taste. Plus he might try to implement some kind of dumb turnover jewelry. The benefit is he might recruit better.
GT is decent this year which leads me to believe Collins will not be available.
Someone young and African American. Unless you can get the Clempson guy or Muschamp. Although, Muschamp is a Ga homer and sure he remembers being run out of town quite well. Strong's name always comes up but...
Decent defensive guy-better recruiter
Mason and Mullen are good friends. That escalation was an outlier.
Collins, yes. Diaz is underwhelming. Marquand Manuel is interesting. Young, NFL experience, UF ties. I could see him being a beast on the recruiting trail. Though, I confess that I don't know enough about his chops as a D coordinator. I would love to hear more about him from those more knowledgeable about his abilities and record.
Yes but he left with a helicopter full of cash on his way out.
If anyone doesn't know, Venables at Clemson is coaching his son. His son had a nice interception vs Syracuse Friday night.
He is a sophomore, I believe.
Hmm, I keep seeing Collins, but Collins just allowed 52pt vs Pitt. Are we sure we want Collins?
Any of the below. Not in any order.
adding Corey Raymond.
Isn't he a Gator? And he can't coach or recruit any worse than Grantham.
As much as I can't stand Muschamp, I would too.
If Mullen does not address this issue of the defensive coordinator, it could eventually cost him his job.
