Racism is still widespread in the USA, some people hide it though.

Where do you get that 90% statistic from? Is it just a guess? Also, do you work on a college campus? If you do you might have a more well informed opinion but the 90% is just a guess, right?

What evidence led you to this opinion?

True, but does it happen (relatively) equally or are some groups much more likely to be targeted?

Is it racist for a white politician to criticize the political views of a politician of color? Maybe yes, maybe no. It depends on different circumstances, such as what one actually said about the other.

Speaking of benefits from the government. The people carried these signs in 2009 and 2010 went to support Trump in 2016. Against socialism but want to protect their socialist benefits from the government and top it off have absolutely no idea that they're receiving benefits from the government.

I've found that openly it's more equal now than ever. I won't get into implicit bias or historical and present day systemic racism but with normal people in public, open racism is about equal from my experience.

I think a better caption would be 2 out of 3 Democrats do NOT think it's racist to criticize a person of color.

I look forward to your report on the percentage of republicans who believe racism is NOT a problem in America. Two out of three will be the floor, I wager.

Feel free to fund that poll post a thread. Those repubs are stupid.
And good in you being happy that one third if the democrats thinks it cool to mislabeling someone as a racists.
Inhave repeatedly said this isnt a dem or repubs is but a society issue. And yet tribalism always wins out.
    My side good
    Your side bad

But we do the exact same things just with different colored shirts on...or is that racists to say.

I expressed no opinion on the 1 in 3 in the poll you referenced. I draw no conclusion from cites to polls in GatorCountru threads.

    This.

Although Rasmussen is a questionable polling organization, I don't doubt that a notable non-zero percentage of folks believe that simple criticism of a POC is racism. In some ways, it seems at times impossible to see how it isn't when people reach for stereotypes, invoke racial tropes, or alternately deny racism exists, or any injury from it (while now claiming whites are the ones who are being discriminated against (@gatorchamps0607 , this isn't meant toward anything you wrote :) ).

But you look forward to me posting about repubs and how they view racism. My suggestion...find that poll yourself and start a thread. Report on ot yourself instead of expecting someone else too.

I think it's quite clear from that post that you are right. The concept of free speech is absolutely lost on some.
(Hint: Look up free speech and see what it means.)
