If this IS indeed true, how TG gonna dictate what typa control he wants to have or not have lol? This gets more weird and goofy by the day
That’s just one incident, it’s the only time it’s ever happened and no one can come up with a less traceable way to do it.
Yeah, this was my reaction to the T-Rob debacle. Like, if you're the head coach and your evaluation of Grantham is that you think he deserves another shot, OK, that's fair. But Todd Grantham doesn't get to make demands or conditions or veto any power-sharing arrangements. The conversation basically should go: Mullen: Todd, I like you, I'm going to give you another chance, but we're going to bring in Travaris Robinson as co-defensive coordinator. Grantham: Absolutely not. Mullen: Then you're fired. When you're on your last chance, you don't get to dictate what that chance looks like. A defensive coordinator who coordinated the kind of defense we saw this last season is lucky to have a job at a place like Florida.
We've been singing from the same song sheet for a long time. It's refreshing to see what we know has been happening get exposed.
Wait...they revoked his bowl bonus before the OU game? I haven’t heard that anywhere. Or are they saying they revoked his bowl bonus because of the performance in the bowl and then Mullen didn’t bother to prepare for the bowl game which couldn’t have happened yet because the bowl game had yet to be played and thus no reason to revoke his bowl bonus based on bowl performance. A real space time continuum problem. in all seriousness... have you seen anything about bowl bonus being revoked? I actually have not. I am not sure how legally, with a contract, they could do that anyway. And how has he bilked the school for money? I don’t recall any contract extensions or raises he has received for himself though I suppose he may have gotten a raise without an extension.
It’s a scenario. You could create a handful of these based on the circumstances that tens to induct either side. It seems unlikely this scenario is true and it’s hard to believe a staff would act this way because it sounds entitled. Many or most coaches at DI make more than life saving first responders... just sayin.
