I thought I might start watching One America for news as opposed to the utterly tiresome duo of FoxNews and CNN. But when I switched over to OAN the other day, I saw something weird. It was the last part of what I can only describe as a promo for Susan Sanders. Just talking about how honorable she is, what a good job she's doing, and then it went to a commercial. There was no "This was paid for by" or anything else when it ended, but it was just like some kind of a campaign ad. I couldn't understand what I saw. I could only conclude that it was a promo put out by OAN itself, just to say good things about Sanders. Is that possible? I've never seen FoxNews or CNN do anything of a similar nature. Could OAN be even more politically biased (to the right) than FoxNews?

OAN is kind of monotone but they are the best news channel out there I would say. You get a lot more coverage on things going on outside the US than with the other networks also.

You mean it's not just Trump, Trump, Trump? That sounds good.

I guess its a little less Trump due to them covering overseas news stuff more than the other ones do. The US news is still 90% Trump mostly like the other ones.

It just occurred to me that one reason Trump may lie so much and issue stupid tweets is to keep the news all about him. Trump just said this and Trump just said that. Time for a panel discussion! He can't get enough of it.

OAN is the best when it comes to reporting news as well as the in depth reporting on a variety of subjects. What you will get is the full context of the facts and not sound bites that lead to biased reporting in favor of one party versus another.

Don't get misled though as there are pundits that are opinionated in their views The Tipping Point and The Ledger come to mind. I personally don't pay attention to those as I am more interested in the news and the reporting. Give me the facts and I'll draw the conclusion. I do find that the major networks such as MSNBC, CNN, FOXNEWS, CBS, NBC, ABC tend to leave out the truly relevant information, OAN does not.

They don't rely on advertisements and the few they do have are thoroughly vetted so if your looking for Viagra you won't find it there. The majority of their breaks highlight American history and people that helped shape this nation as well educational facts concerning the United States Constitution. Make no mistake as OAN is pro America period with all of the faults exposed. The intent is to inform the viewer of the good as well as the bad. The message is this is the greatest nation on earth let us make it better not worse. Fix the things that are broken and take pride in the things that work well.

As mentioned above they also report on international news and affairs in much more detail than any other news channel on the air.

That would be a relief. I am over all the yapping about Trump, Russia and left v. right, over and over again. It isn't news after ten days of reporting the same thing.

Tell me what else is going on in the world, please.

That must be what I saw, but strange that it would be about Susan Sanders. Is she helping shape this nation? I certainly hope not.

Now you understand why I do not watch The Tipping Point or The Ledger as they are biased. The Tipping Point will have interviews with opposing sides of the argument. The Ledger for the most part does not have opposing points of view. In both cases each of these shows will promote the Republican party point of view whether it is a Republican run off (promote a favorite) or an election cycle. The one thing both shows will do is chastise the Republican party when they aren't happy with actions or results and chastise the Democrat Party incessantly.
Skip those shows and I think you'll be more than pleased.

The in depth reporting is fair and takes all sides of the issue into account. OAN was the only news show to interview Jason Kessler for an hour concerning the Unite The Right rally that took place in Charlottesville Va. There are certainly things I don't agree with concerning Mr Kessler's point of view but none the less it was an informative piece concerning why he believes what he believes. The interview went into his beliefs as well as the details in organizing and getting approval for the rally and the events that transpired.

BTW here is the latest information concerning that rally.
Kessler Settles Lawsuit Over Militia Groups at Unite The Right Rally

It is important to note that Mr. Kessler and his followers are not the only group to settle in the the lawsuit. The group Redneck Revolt is also implicated in the settlement of the lawsuit. What I find most most interesting is no news concerning ANTIFA involvement in this horrible chain of events.

Sorry for the confusion it is not your newspaper it is political pundit show on OAN (One America News) called "The Daily Ledger" hosted by Graham Ledger. Watched the show a few times and it's nothing more than Rachel Madow, Chris Matthews, Rush Limbaugh, Lara Ingram pick your poison type of show. Could care much less about those as I go to OAN for the news. I get the OAN on Verizon FIOS but I understand it is available on You Tube by subscription.
