Definitely should be LSU with him announcing that right after the title game.

I bet Auburn would love him.. King is probably best case scenario for Gus. This won't happen, but certainly would be a nice fit.

I wonder if the other 3 guys who redshirted will look elsewhere as well?

Let's take him. Kyle will beat him out this time. :)

With Oklahoma not looking for a transfer QB this year, LSU will be most desirable landing spot for any QB....At least as long as Brady is there. I think Brady+King would be a serious national championship contender (Preseason #1 in the SECW). FWIW I drank the koolaid, and think he's another Lincoln Riley -like offensive genius.

Great. Just what we need. With Burrow leaving, LSU’s offense was going to take a major step backwards this year. That may not be the case if King transfers there.

If he goes to LSU, meh. He’s more of a running QB. From the 2 or 3 games I’ve watched him in, he’s more a threat with his feet and he has ok accuracy. I don’t see him throwing those perfect dimes Burrow was making... he gets the ball in the right ball park, but not perfectly in stride, etc.
The perfect example was the deep Burrow throw to Chase that was nearly perfect but to the back shoulder, but Chase was expecting it front shoulder that would have been a touchdown in the second half.
I was like Chase actually drops passes? I bet you Chase won’t look like a Bilitnickoff winner next year without the precision passing

If it's not King, I can see them looking at KJ Costello too which would give their incoming freshmen a much needed redshirt year and Costello isn't a bad option either.

King’s game isn’t a shadow of Burroughs’. It will be a long time before a QB has a year like Burrows just completed on the big stage. I’m hoping Joe Brady gets a HBC’ing job or some NFL team needs a high paid OC. Maybe the team that takes Burrows.

King would definitely mitigate the impending drop off in Baton Rouge.
