If you could bring back any President for 4 more years, which one would you chose? Why?

    Washington
    Jefferson
    Lincoln
    Teddy
    FDR
    JFK
    Reagan
    Clinton
    Bush
    Barry
    or........

I think the safest undead zombie president would be Washington, just remove the false teeth before you reanimate his corpse so he cant bite anyone.

Maybe Lincoln, just to see the look on his face when he asks "what the hell has happened to my party?"

Madison or the first term Reagan.

Madison for his insight/perspective on how the Constitution has been interpreted and changed by amendment.

Reagan for his ability to work both sides of the aisle to achieve compormise. Sitting down with O'Neil even though they disagreed was good for the country.

Jefferson would probably say the same thing.

And he could sit down with both parties and work out this immigration stalemate.

I am more concerned about the disasters like Wilson/fdr/lbj/Obama and the entitlements that will in the end potentially take this country down.

And the damage had already been done by the time Reagan came to office. And while he was great. All he could do from the damage of fdr and lbj was push that entitlement problem along.

Barry? What the hell is with that.

I'd be happy with Obama. Life was good for me. He would easily be elected in today's environment and it would pi$$ off all those fake fiscal conservatives

Ironic thing about Jefferson: he and Hamilton clashed about a strong central government. Jefferson wanted a weaker federal government. And then he makes the Louisiana Purchase, using a federal power that he didn’t like before he became POTUS.

The one who "got it" in the more modern period (no not really but at least it wasn't the really oldies): Calvin Coolidge. He was what the POTUS should be.

Madison gets a nod because he was most likely the most intelligent.

Hard choice, really. I see several great ones on there. I guess it’d be either George Washington or Abraham Lincoln for me. But on the list you provided, I certainly like Thomas Jefferson and Theodore Roosevelt, and Ronald W. Reagan too. Not on the list a couple I also admire are James Madison and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Both Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush were very good too. And we’ve certainly had other good Presidents, we’re fortunate Americans that we did.
