Has officially left the team.
I think they have Cord Sandberg as a QB from MLB minor leagues as well.
He's now their backup
Was listening to AU media yesterday suggest they may go to a wildcat offense like Kentucky has done if Nix got hurt. Indicates Sandberg isn't much of an option. Recall a lot of UF fans being upset Mullen didn't pursue him since he was a legacy
Yeah I remember lots being upset we missed him. Think he may turn out ok, but he hasn't played organized football in a while so not surprising he didn't just jump right in.
Some more names added to the transfer portal as of late.
Justin Rogers/4 star/TCU
Artur Sitkowski/3 star/Rutgers
Jack Allison/4 star/West Virginia
Jaquayln Crawford/4 star/Oklahoma
Cameron Chambers/4 star/Michigan St.
Trent Lowe/4 star/Washington
Miles Battle/4 star/Ole Miss
Brant Lawless-Sherrill/4 star/UNC
Karter Johnson/4 star/TCU
Scooby Carter/4 star/Bama
Jamel Cook/4 star/South Carolina
Allison was a top 10 QB in his HS class (same class as KT). You'll have to scroll down a ways at the link to find KT.
2016 Top Quarterback Recruits
Yes! Potentially Jordan Pouncey as a package deal with Ethan....though I think they choose Auburn.
We really need some experienced Oline help....but so does 80% of the country.
Allison was a bust. He couldn’t win the job at Miami then transferred to WVU. Now he is transferring from there now. Maybe he needs to find a smaller school.
Yeah I’m not sure Mullen would take the package deal of the Pounceys. The younger one I would take as he is a very good CB but the older one who is a transfer from Texas is a waste of a scholarship in my opinion. Getting Stewart Reese would be huge for our oline.
Would be interesting to see what, if any impact, Moorehead taking the rutgers job would have on his decision. Play for the coach who recruited you and compete for a championship (SEC or otherwise) or play for your 3rd HC and still be in starkville on a 3/4 win team.
Malik Heath is I’m the same boat somewhat. Originally was at Miss St. then went JUCO and is committed back to Miss St. Heath would be a very good day 1 starter at WR.
Former #1 overall WR Justin Shorter is now transferring from Penn St. Would be someone to really look at. 6”4 220lbs.
Yea im sure we'll give him a call. saw it on Twitter and they had a practice clip from the AA game a few years back and of course it would feature him beating Trey Dean deep lol
12 catches total. Is he any good?
Obviously we have an advantage in that Van Jeff and Grimes are transfer WRs that did well at UF. Also, Van Jeff’s father is a long time NFL WR coach. He could have chosen anywhere for his son and he valued Billy G’s coaching ability for his son
West Virginia safety Kwantel Raines enters transfer portal
Well I believe he is just a freshman. I mean the kid has all the talent in the world. Not sure what the situation was at Penn St.
In his second year I think. May have taken a shirt though.
I just took a look at Penn St. message board and they are very surprised. But they do think he may stay at PSU.
