Manning missed several wide open guys downfield in the first half. Would have done us in.

 

What I would have done is take the 10 seconds off and then line up and then call a timeout. Would have taken the refs an hour to figure out that one.

 

And he is an idiot!!!

 

Then why wasn’t there a 10 second runoff for when Manning lost his helmet?

 

I think in that scenario his starting left guard would have had to sit out a play. He judged that it was more likely we’d convert the 3rd down and seal the game with Barber in.

 

More than just the timeout...If SOS was coaching that game, we RUTS... Napier on game day is TURRIBLE!

 

His next coaching job will be at a private High School

 

Manning will probably be pretty good next year.

I'm glad to see Lagway have some success and gain some confidence back but I fear he may not be fully healthy at anytime this year.

 

It reminds me of another team this year... just can't quite put my finger on it...

 

So glad we got to ride Baugh most of the game.

 

Except no one is defending Billy. We are all celebrating a Gator win.

If that was his thinking, then he is dumber than i thought and that is almost impossible. He has ZERO idea how to manage the game and the clock with a lead...

That’s a terrible calculation then. Having the second stringer in is worth 40 seconds and it’s not even a question. And, of course, we didn’t even come close to converting.

 

Only Billy can make a win feel painful.

Love the team effort today. This team is stacked. It’s talented. But there’s no denying what, or I should say, WHO…the problem is. We should be 5-0 right now, 4-1 at worst.

 

That would work if we looked like we were going to make that 3rd down but Texas knew what we doing and stacked the line. They stuffed our last 5 runs including a 2 yard loss on that 3rd down. We were never going to seal the game with that gameplan.
