Game was lost in second half no scoring. Good coaches make adjustments, ours don't. Defense played well enough to but no help from offense second half. I do think BNs scheme limits things and things will change next yr

"Florida Gators" is abbreviation for the *UNIVERSITY OF* Florida Gators.

We're a university first, and as such, academics are top priority.

And when I say we are the envy of the state, that's not just an alumnus talking up his alma mater, it's in the wake of having 3 kids (from 3 different schools) get into UF in three consecutive years, being well plugged in to the admissions process and where most kids want to go.

UF is head and shoulders way above the rest of the schools in the state for desired/ dream destination.

Maybe YOU think that doesn't matter... you are quite mistaken.

The only people who are concerned about academics are Admin and chess club members. I never think about telling a Bama / Georgia fan we kick ur ass in academic prowress . Athletics has everything to do with a university’s image . Doubt if many people know what the Academic ranking , but they know about the bbl Natty and our football teams stink .

 

MC .. our stadium is a dump compared to most . Old and outdated ! The seating is horrible!

The only people--are at least most-- who are invested in a about college football team, and aren't connected to the schools that field those teams, are people who don't have a *professional* (NFL) football team to root for.

But they're set on educational paths reasonably calculated to afford opportunities that theyll be able to avail themselves of, which in turn should lead to comfortable livelihoods, which they ought to achieve whether our beloved Gators win nattys, or are celler dwellers, for the next 10 years.

 

An unexpected take for someone over 16 years old. But if the most significant thing about UF for someone is the ability to tell rival school supporters that their sports teams suck, then I guess this makes sense.
