Uga has had 3 players leave in a 10 day period.

Michigan State, I can't recall the exact number, lost at least 6.

And Alabama has lost 10 players alone from their 2015 recruiting class. Wow.

Report: Alabama sees 10th player leave from its No. 1-ranked 2015 recruiting class

In February 2015, Alabama -- as has been the case more times than not this decade -- signed the top-ranked classin the country, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Since then, that class has dispersed faster than cars fly off the lot at coach Nick Saban's Mercedes-Benz dealership.

Matt Zenitz of AL.com reportedTuesday that offensive lineman Dallas Warmack is exiting the program with Oregon -- led by former Crimson Tide assistant Mario Cristobal -- as a possible landing spot.

On the surface, it's not a huge loss. But Warmack's departure marks the 10th player to leave out of Alabama's class of 24 players in 2015.

But that's not the end of the story for the 2015 recruiting class.

Four members of the top-ranked class in the country heard their names called in the NFL Draft last month.

    Who all left UGly?

But that's what's disturbing about Saban and his "recruiting". They always lose a lot to transfers, only to keep reeling in top talent? I wish the NCAA would hammer that shithole once and for all.

    Uga
    • Cornerback Juwuan Briscoe, a sophomore who started the first four games this year before losing his first-team spot.
    • Cornerback Rico McGraw, a sophomore who began the preseason as the first-team nickel back, then lost his starting spot two days before the season opener.
    • Receiver Shaquery Wilson, a sophomore who has not played this season.
    • In addition, sophomore safety Kirby Choates, who has been dealing with academics issue, will be mulling whether to return to the team, according too Smart.
And uga just lost a big time recruit to Bama. Jayson Jones. Uga wouldn't allow him to commit unless he camped there. He didn't know that and was on his way to IMG Academy. So he commited to Bama and now holds a grudge toward uga. He's a '20 kid and is already 6'5" 322.

Kentucky just lost a DL, unexpectedly (he's going to be a grad transfer, made 48 tackles and 6.5 sacks last year). Will be a big pick up wherever he lands:

Georgia DT Chris Barnes (a RS Soph) is transferring also (moved to DL this spring from the OL). Just making room for their next class.

Yes, except in cases where the Coach gets caught like Freeze, top programs are always going to lose more kids to transfer as high rated prospects find themselves playing 3rd or 4th string. Unfortunately, this means that they can continually sign 25 kids with 10-15 never being anything other than deep back-ups rather than being 1st teams at another location.

The Rich usually get Richer, while the Poor remain Poor, if not poorer. This has been true for every aspect of just about every historical society.

Alabama is always clearing roster space. They just lost OL Dallas Warmack (brother of former star OL Chance): Warmack was a 4-star prospect and the No. 10 guard in the class of 2015. He's expected to transfer to Oregon to play for his old OL coach, Mario Cristobal.

Not unexpected to lose so many players when you start reeling in car loads of 5*'s every year though.

Just shows that playing time goes to the best player regardless of seniority on the team.

Alabama "loses" another OL (this kid is a RS Soph and will be a grad transfer??):

Report: Alabama lineman Brandon Kennedy will transfer

Veteran redshirt sophomore center Brandon Kennedy will become a graduate transfer, according to a report by AL.com’s Matt Zenitz. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound center is from Wetumpka, Alabama, and he missed a portion of last season due to a leg injury.

Kennedy was rated a 4-star prospect, and he ranked as the nation’s No. 19 overall OG and the state’s No. 10 overall prospect exiting high school in the class of 2015, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He’ll have two years to play at another program following his transfer.

Clemson DT Josh Belk is transferring and possibly to SC. He was ranked a 4 star by rivals and 5 star by 247 sports. He was a part of the 18 class..

Very weird.. heard it’s due to a sick family member. But apparently a lawyer representing Belk was involved in this.

Damn. That could be a huge upgrade. So he's only been on campus a short time?

He didn’t deserve a 5 star imo, but he’s good. He would have good days at practice, but then he would be down and out.. he did really well in the all star practices and showed out.

He’s always been a Gamecock fan and went to lewisburg HS near Columbia.. I think he’s a kid that got caught in the moment and committed to Clemson. I think his best chance at playing time is USC.

Unless Clem gives him an unconditional release, then he will sit out this season. What I’ve seen so far it’s a family issue, and also issues he’s having.

He went through Clemson spring practice.

And it sounds like Ja'markis Weston may be a candidate to drop from this class. He hasn't visited Gainesville since he commited. That may free up a spot for a 5 star that I guarantee well pick up.

Alabama is trying to block one of their OL transfers from going to an SEC school (Auburn or Tenn). The kid hired a lawyer...

Yeah I saw that. It's a shame. Saban created this minor league system and now he wants full control of ALL!!

Especially the way he runs off kids who underperform (to clear roster space for more scholarships).

I get it w/ not wanting kids to go to a team you play (or might play) though. I think that's why we didn't see Burrow's name come up w/ Nebraska (after he announced his transfer - heard his name w/ Nebraska plenty before he announced). And the NCAA transfer rules state that the player has to be released in order to transfer, so Saban is within the rules. It's just very hypocritical coming from him, after he's shown plenty of players the door.
