Down to him and Tenn Asst. Pretty good chance they offer him the job I'm told. It would be tough to turn down being a HC in an area he has deep ties to.

Coaching turnover kills in recruiting, especially when losing your new big man coach.

This was a concern of mine when we hired him. He seemed to jump ship constantly.

Good for him! I thought he done one heck of a job with hayes . Losing 2 assistants to HC gigs 2in 2 years should only make joining our staff more appealing.

I don’t want to lose Pinkins, but I don’t have a clue as to whether he should get credit for Hayes improvement.

I always like seeing our guys get HC gigs.
    I hope he lands it.

Kennesaw is an awful program and awful job in an awful conference, hope for Pinkins’ sake that he doesn’t get the offer or has an epiphany and withdraws.

Don’t forget how taking the Kennesaw job derailed the coaching career of Florida assistant Lewis Preston a few years back.

Speaking of former UF assistants, was there a thread for Pelphrey getting the head job at Tennessee Tech?

Wow. No promise at all. Horrible job IMO. But I guess that’s why I’m here and he’s on Florida’s staff.

Kennesaw hires Amir Abdur-Rahim from UGa (younger brother of Sharif).
