Did anyone catch the after game celebration where Perine said he reads and hears everything about him on social media sites. Said something to the effect of putting God first and not reacting. I gained a ton of respect for the guy hearing that and hope he continues to keep working at his craft and improving!

His post-game comments to the media were also spot-on. He is a poised young man. On field and off.

    He gave it to Edgar.

The other media laughed about it.

It was a great burn, but I'd rather players ignore all the chatter. I recognize thats probably pretty rare, but a guy can dream.

Ate him up. Said hopefully you say something nice about me. Edgar said “what did I say” Perine said I read your Twitter.

Perine was very classy. Doubled down when Edgar said “what did I say”? Guess he may have been tough on Perine at some pt.

I like Perine. If we had an average OL, this would have been his fifth straight 100-yard game.

He just can't do much when defenders meet him in the backfield

We absolutely know when he can do because, we have the tape. In my opinion, he wants it so bad and worked his tail off over the off-season, but he just hasn’t found his groove that he left off with last year. I felt yesterday he was starting to see the holes and hit them versus stutter stepping at the line like he has so far this season. He will get back to how he left off last year as we continue to feed him the ball. Yesterday was a great example. He is going to get better as the season progresses as well as the offensive line.

Yep. I've said it before here. The patience he showed last year to wait for blocking to develop is what made him so good last year especially as a change up to the bruising Scarlett. The line needs to give him something to work with.

I never heard the story about him using his own bus money to come to a Florida camp. Love the guy even more now.

Read in some rag (Sentinel?) that Perine was glad to payback Auburn who didn't offer him, cause he was too slow for them

Edgar is worse at his job than the replay official for our game. Just 100% doodoo. Fantastic job by 2 on and off the field. :D

Thanks for posting bud! What a great kid and class act. He sure got his revenge on Auburn, and Edgar. The smirk on his face as soon as he heard Edgar's voice, Perine's comments to him, and the laughter from all of Edgar's peers, said it all. What a Twitterverse twit Edgar is.
