It is baffling, isn't it? Does he think it makes him look anything other than stupid and petty? Or is it just to appease Trump?

I would go with the latter. As much as I detest Matt Gaetz, he's not stupid. He knows exactly what he is doing. He represents a district which is essentially in Southern Alabama and his constituents love Trump.

Exactly, she showed her ass, I'm sure it was planned as well.... Just full for her followers.

Side note did you see the video of her walking out? She looked to have trouble walking... Maybe not water in her glass for the STOTU?

You aren't describing a racist just someone who rips into anyone he doesn't like. He is an equal opportunity offender. Like the guys that write south park.

I know someone that knows him well, though disagrees with him politically. He is VERY intelligent.

I agree that this is his most basic behavioral program, but many of the statements and decisions he’s made don’t exactly seem racially sensitive.

Subversion is beneath the office of Speaker of The House... yes it is...

Hilarious. A second generation RE fraudster claims that ripping up a paper copy is breaking the law. Though to be fair, he knows a lot about breaking the law as he is a career law breaker. :D

Non-partisan hot take? I didn't like it. If you're going to suggest the President acts beneath the dignity of his office, it's pretty simple - don't go and do something that can be accused of the exact same thing in response. It's a race to the bottom...

It’s disingenuous to equate a physical expression of distaste over the putrid partisan speech with the actual putrid partisan speech. Maybe she just should have shouted “you lie!” as loud as she could. o_O

Since Trump loves superlatives, perhaps Pelosi or one of the other Democrats should have said he lied in his State of the Union Address like no other president and and unlike the majority of the Donald's statements that would have been completely accurate.

You sound like you speak with the authority of someone who has had their head in Trump's toilet one time too many. Do have a position in the White House akin to the King's food taster, except you aren't exactly tasting his food? :)

The don eats fast food. He'll probably complain that Big Macs and Whoppers have changed their special sauces knowing the demographic/voting breakdown of D.C. food handlers and their saliva. Chik Fil a servers probably changed the flavor of their "chicken" patties for trump, but it is probably more accidentally ecstatic special sauce.

I don't think the OP even espoused a position. Rather, we were given a link and quotes; no substance and little more than the intent to incite.

I had no clue. My post was second, and not knowing the OP's take I merely called it dumb bullshit. It remains dumb bullshit.

There is a time and place for that kind of stuff. Just like kneeling for a cause during the National Anthem. You are paying your respects to the military, especially the ones that have paid the ultimate price for that flag whether or not you agree with how the government has used them. Besides, kneeling during the anthem is a stupid protest. How about organizing events and protesting with your votes like a normal human being.
